And if the bragging contains untrue statements that are left out there where they can be interpreted contextually as true it becomes lying!
Actually, it’s all marketing - the art of persuasion. The marketeer says what he says to make the sale. The worst thing he\she can do is let silence fill the air in the pitch. Same with the politician “truth-lie-brag-combination of all three” as long as you have the potential buyer\voters’ attention it doesn’t matter. Trump is better then most but he still gets carried away with the sound of his own voice, the roar of the greasepaint & the smell of the crowd!
Great. I am still waiting for someone to quote me an actual lie.
"If the bragging contains untrue statements"
So, what is the "untrue statement" Trump made? I am honestly just looking for someone to give me an actual, verifiable quote/lie. I am not saying Trump could not possibly have ever lied, I am just looking for someone to prove that he did - preferably about something substantive, as opposed to "he said there were x number of people at his rally, when there were only y people there".
Rand ping. Interesting article.
Well, I have to agree with you that they don’t exist, but the closest we CAN get is Donald Trump.
And the truth of the matter is, not even he may be able to turn the ship around, never mind slow it down.
But the fact of the matter is, he is who they fear most, because he is NOT one of them.
He isn’t the Messiah. He isn’t an Ayn Rand Hero. In many ways, he may not be conservative on every issue.
But he damn well did well when given the job of Chief Executive for this nation, and I would trust him again, far more than ANY politician even on the horizon, to resume that job and do good things.
He may not be able to “save” us, but he is the only one even thinking about slowing anything down.
And as you said, those Ayn Rand villains, the Looters, really DO exist.
Excuse me, but if a person didn't trust your opinion, why would they trust what you claim your mother said? That's funny right there.
The truth is that President Trump could not possibly know enough to judge the efficacy of the mRNA vaccine. Other factors related to the shots may be responsible for the unnatural mortality figures, such as mistakes in manufacturing, transportation, handling, or quality control, and even sabotage. The best thing he can do is not talk about it anymore.
And why would I trust your opinion?
That’s quadruply funny!
If you know little about a subject, you are managing you proceed cautiously. That’s Management 101! I am a Trump supporter just not a mindless fanboy\girl. He f’ed up in his COVID management. He thought he was dealing with professionals. He wasn’t!
No...I just opened my eyes and started to see the truth about our government and DC. I am mow awake and I will tell people what I believed and how I realized how and why Trump is the man for our time. I am not ashamed of that. There are millions of us out there and now working to elect President Trump.
He was dealing with professionals. Corrupt, compromised, brainless professionals.
Flaws? Personal flaws?
I’m sure the author is as pure as snow.
Yeah, he’s a writer. How brave.
Nowadays Galt's Gulch would need to be in remodeled atlas missile silos or something like that.
I think Hank Rearden is somewhat apt comparison to Musk. Trump is maybe closer to Roark? If only because they both build skyscrapers?
Here’s one!
Trump’s “I’m going to veto every bloated budget” while SIGNING every bloated budget. The buck stops @ the Pres’ desk
Though signing was probably politically necessary!
If you’re going to claim that Trump lies, you’re going to have to do better than that.
