Good evening and thanks for your kind words.

I'm 25 months since getting Covid, and about 19 months since I developed Long Covid. It's been a long road, but I'm sure it's going to take a couple of more years at least to heal from it completely.

I'm fortunate that it didn't get into my lungs, though I was diagnosed with asthma just within the past couple of months, and the doctors are sure it was caused by Covid. I now have inhalers that I have to use on a daily basis. But the main four symptoms that I developed; chronic fatigue, insomnia, nausea and brain fog/dizziness/confusion are still hanging on. They are not as bad as before but that's because I stay home and rest and pace myself.

Part of what you shared kind of rings home. I have to concentrate more when I'm going about daily chores. For instance, I have to upload info from my CPAP machine to my computer each day. I have to ensure that I lock the SD card before I insert it into the SD slot on my computer. I also have to unlock it before putting it back into the CPAP machine. I've neglected to do both from time to time. I will also throw away things I don't mean to throw away. I threw away a small plastic cup, and I think I threw away one or two my eating utensils. I also have to concentrate more when I'm out and about. And I live alone so I have no backup close by. I'm trying to move closer to my daughter but housing for seniors is hard to come by. So I wonder if Covid didn't do something to my neurological system.

Again, I appreciate your post. Thank you for sharing.

dt45, Yes the part of the brain affected by me was the same: apparently your hippocampus, etc, makes a briefly stored movie about what you JUST did, like turn off the stove, lock the door to the garage, etc., and that is affected (for me not permanently) by COVID.

So I would be optimistic that your memory of that time will continue to improve.

Yes what you describe is what I had. And it made life hard.

For me it returned 100 %.

Keep your chin up.
