Yep, big time.
Wait, trading still halted yet stock price shows a fall from $57 to $49.58. Is there some manipulating going on?
Trading back open apparently now and bouncing between $45 and $50, Wild.
Now halted gain, WTF is going on?
Power to the People. And the Kitty.
Time for GME to raise another $1 Billion in cash with a stock offering and stay out of bankruptcy for another 3 years.
Looks like the powers that be on Wall Street aren’t going to let their hedge fund buddies and short sellers get caught with their pants down again.
How in the hell does the stock price fluctuate from $49.84 to $55.69 while trading shows as halted?
Now open trading again, this is crazy.
Current - $52 and +70%
Price declining in big steps.
Whoops - Trading Halted again.
Traded 30 million shares in 10 minutes.
Average Daily Volume - 39 million
Price moves back up - $53 (+74%)
Price crashing again - $49 (+61%)
Had some. Trade halted — > opened — > dumped at $54.50 — > trade halted again ....
According to stock pundits this morning - it is losing money had over fist - surge by young know nothings trying to make a quick buck.
Gamestop was being driven into the ground by naked short selling a few years ago. Some Reddit people got together and bought up shares. It caught on and soon Gamestop was surging and crushing the short sellers.
No one would sell enough stock to cover their losses so the losses kept growing every day. Eventually enough people took their profits and bankrupted some of the big boys and funds to billions of dollars.
Looks like its happening again. The little guys are doing this, not the big boys of Wall Street. Looks like some more big losses for the shorts. I love it.
I know the absurdity of the MSM business press. Like the young know nothings all have a big chunk of cash that was waiting around for Roaring Kitty to tweet on X.
Even if that were true. Where did they find the big pile of cash to drive the price the 2nd day?
Should have bought more than I did when it was 10 bucks a share.
