We saw these bears — a mummy bear and a baby... Those rank high in the Famous Last Words list.

My mom still tells the story of camping at Yosemite with her family in the 50s. A big grizzly bear came strolling towards their campsite and my mom and her brother picked up the lit charcoal grill with burger patties and set it inside the camper and then got in the cab. As the bear went past, there were five little kids following it like it was a parade.
