The only time I’ve seen anything close to that was a cheap aftermarket pedal that cracked. Even that one didn’t cause a safety hazard.

You could end up in a pond before you could react, how about that.

The surprising thing to me is that they sold 3878 of those things.

3,878?
I’m surprised they’ve sold that many.

I’ll take the Ford, only one that does not need a ladder.

That cyber truck is just plain ugly. I don’t think creators of good sci-fi movies would come up with anything like that.

I am shocked that they managed to sell that many.

The pad may come off because “an unapproved change introduced lubricant (soap)” on the part...

I read that and immediately recalled the whistleblower's report of 'dish soap' being used in Boeing aircraft production assembly.

I made my living as an aviation maintenance mechanic for 16 years.....best way I found to stay out of hot water when it came to wrenching on aircraft was to follow the technical publications to the letter.

In aviation every step of every process and procedure is in a manual.....working by memory is a big no-no and can get people killed. And that certainly translates to automobiles as well.

They should have never let an origami artist design the exterior.
