a conservative like Pence? CD4 is one of the most conservative districts in the US. We would never pick somebody like Pence.
It's also why Boebert is having a hard time. Her voting record is really good, but it's not 100% conservative. That, plus her improprieties and those of her family make her unfit to serve in CD4.
Boebert has shown that it's about the power for her - even though she talks a good talk. It's why she's carpet-bagging.
Boebert is somebody who I originally supported when she ran for office, and donated to her campaign. Washington, DC changed her - like it does so many others.

Re: 15 - politics had nothing to do with her lease not being renewed (it wasn’t cancelled).

a hardcore conservative like Buck He was. He's been anything but for a while now. In fact he's been a turncoat. This is his latest treachery.

He is a Cheney follower. “After Liz Cheney was ousted as Republican Conference Chair for refusing to accept Trump’s claims of a stolen election, Buck likened her ouster to cancel culture, further stating that the decision would alienate voters who agreed with Cheney’s stance. Well, he worked for her old man before the New York native became a "carpet bagger" in Wed county.

Thank you for posting this. I have read similar posts where we state that we liked a candidate on his way in and then later don’t know what went wrong when they veer off the Republican rails for no visible reason. It has been surmised here that a great number of our Congressional, Supreme Court, and other leadership are being blackmailed in one manner or another almost from the get go. If so that can’t be a multitude of independent operations all over the country. It would suggest some coordination behind the scenes. Does this date back to the Clinton’s improperly obtained 900 FBI files on mostly Republican officials? And Hoover’s massive files on everybody before that? Who has those files and keeps adding to them?
Europe is very far ahead of the U.S. in recognizing a right to privacy which includes a right to limit data bases about an individual. Getting blackmailed is a very real possibility for anyone in public life. What is in those files may not be true, but it is damaging to anyone in the public eye.

Sure did. That was a successful business that paid it’s bills. Was always full and created no problems. Her lease was cancelled over politics.
The new building owner leased it so someone that put in yet ANOTHER Mexican restaurant. As anyone who visits a small town knows, Mexican restaurants are popping up like mushrooms. I was in one small town in Missouri last summer and there was a town square with a courthouse. On the storefronts surrounding that block, there were no less than 6 Mexican restaurants... all within a stones throw.
Rifle has a population of 10,000. It has 15 Mexican restaurants, 16 if you include Taco Bell.
It was political hate that ended her long term lease.

I liked Ken Buck as a Senate candidate in 2010, I don’t know what went wrong with him. But both these blowhard politicians can buzz offMethinks Ken longs for the happy days of pork barrel politics. He knows those halcyon days are nearly over, as the federal debt is barreling to $40 trillion. It must be no fun to be a legislator when you can't buy votes with pork.
He's getting out of town before the SHTF, while blaming everyone else for ruining this country. Kenny my boy, you played a role in this fiasco, you ascheloche.

I read something about the owner being a prominent dem in Rifle. I imagine he enjoyed putting her popular café out of business.
