I was amazed that years ago the NBA cut off official life support of the WNBA. Since then the NBA unofficially funds the WNBA to the tune of 12 million per year.

Mostly agree. Though it would be nice to ride Manfred out of town on a rail for the next, even most trivial, infraction to underline the fact that MLB fans and players don't appreciate his bow to “wokeness” in general and to pulling the All-Star game out of Atlanta in particular.
For now, it is fun to see the little worm squirm to make it up.
