Booker T Washington would be a Republican if alive today, can’t mention his name.

Woodson was a great scholar and American. DuBois was a good scholar but fell under the control of his Communist Party wife and became a Soviet and Party propaganda stooge. The third person was a good scientist as I recall.

Target’s Black History Month magnet book mixed up the three civil rights icons, W.E.B. Du Bois, Booker T. Washington and Carter G. Woodson

Could've happened to anyone.

Thanks 21twelve. I immersed myself in black history, and I missed this one. He does sound like he made an important contribution. W.E.B DeBois should be removed from the collection. He did far more to HARM progress for the Negro race.

Yeah. I saw the story and thought:

What?

Booker T. Washington was a race-baiting, racist scummy Marxist jackass, and...W.E.B. Dubois was an honest, hardworking man who believed in family and the concept that hard, competent, quality work was the best way to accomplish real racial integration in this country?
