I believe the answer is yes. I don’t see anarchy coming, just a deterioration into a squalid quasi-police state not unlike the moribund European Union. Stumbling along with crumbling economies and vulnerable to predations from more aggressive cultures. Populations continuing to decline because no one has anything to live for and no vision of the future to look forward to.

I sound pessimistic but here’s the key — even as the trend has been increasingly clear since 1988, and despite a gleam of hope during the Trump years, there is no organized resistance to the takeover. The GOP is an empty shell, currently hosting a candidate funded almost entirely by leftwing democrat donors. GOP senators who think 5000 aliens a day coming in is a great solution to a self-generated problem. That’s just the start. Step back and look at it, all of it. The uniparty is real, and in control. We’re done.

“Reality is it will take at least a decade or more to actually put down these insane rabid dogs.”

That’s very optimistic. I think that if it happens at all, it will take several decades, something like two generations.

Since we are playing make-believe as if laws could fix this....

The one thing that I think could be added to the constitution is the first proposed amendment (which was never ratified).

Look it up.

If you like government closer to the people, that’s your fix. Of course we are way past the point of fixing anything so as long as a proposed law would have a positive impact, it WOULD NEVER be enacted.

Here’s how we got here.

Senator Howard Metzenbaum (champion of labor) slipped a poison pill in the Tax Reform Act of 1986 changing the rules for Defined Benefit (DB) pension plans in vesting rights from 10 years to 5 years. This change was to take place in 1989. I worked for a company with 20,000 on-site employees (jet engines) in Evendale, Ohio in 1988. The massive layoffs started soon after. This was so easily predicted. Now we have 20,000 illegal invaders crossing the border in a week to take American’s jobs and private company Defined benefit (DB) pension plans have been gutted. Now American workers are being outright replaced.

You don’t think Howard knew what he was doing? Introduced in the Senate as S.3527 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act of 1988 by Howard Metzenbaum on June 16, 1988. In 2001, there were about 2,000 mass layoffs and plant closures that were subject to WARN advance notice requirements and that affected about 660,000 employees.

88 percent of public employees are covered by a defined benefit pension plan. Well ain’t that something. /s

Creepy Joe didn’t win in 2020.

We already had a revolution in this country, roughly around the first Obama election. They won, we lost.

What we are experiencing now is what the revolution in power does, destroy and take over law enforcement, intelligence and the military, jail the political opposition on false charges, liquidate the middle class, preferably by stealth with inflation and limitation of their mobility, unleash the criminal underclass to create terror and atomization of the populace, tear down the monuments of the past and rewrite history, indoctrinate the youth in the new order, and force the people to assent to absurdities such as men can become women simply by saying so.

Add in periodic panics over climate change, pandemics, and “threats to our democracy”, stigmatize all dissent as “disinformation “, and the cake is baked.

You are right, I am being optimistic. Realistically I think you are more accurate.

The Republicans in Congress should try to send a federal middle class income tax capping amendment to the states, such as:

Federal income taxation shall be capped as follows, on income:
below the average yearly apartment rent in the District of Columbia, 10%,
below the median federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 22%,
below the average upper quartile of federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 30%,
below the average upper decile of federal full-time civilian employee compensation amount, 40%.

[Note 1: The 10% includes FICA.]
[Note 2: This provides great flexibility for the federal government in times of war and depression because it can increase tax revenue by cutting its employee compensation.]

You’re right under the current government, nothing will change and laws or amendments to the Constitution will not change anything, they will never get enacted.

However, I think after a revolution of some type, there will be a winner and a loser, then a new government can be formed, either a modification of the current constitutional republic or a CCP style system.

The fact is that President Trump, if re-elected, will only be a speed bump slowing the onslaught for 4 years.
The RINO’s won’t allow him to enact any meaningful legislation and when he leaves for the final time, we will be punished with another dem “President”. The left will hunt us down with dogs.
Watched a documentary last evening showcasing the Pacific War. Wonder what those young Marines wading thru the lagoon at Tarawa would think if they could see what has become of the country so many gallantly gave their precious lives for. Makes me weep..

“amendments to the Constitution will not change anything, they will never get enacted”

Tax cap amendments might get enacted. If Republicans fight hard for them, Republicans will win votes.

Property taxes are so high in Northeastern states that lots of Democrats fear getting taxed out of their homes.

If we prevent getting taxed out of houses or into poverty, then we might be able to endure.

Upper income people could live well in a 2700 square foot house on high-level government employee incomes. Higher income people are the folks primarily funding Biden and other tyrannical Democrats. Upper income people could be protected to a humane extent by tax cap amendments.

I doubt any meaningful constitutional amendment can be passed, it requires 38 states to ratify any new amendment, 13 states can kill anything.

Besides the near impossibility of getting any new amendment out of Congress at least 13 Blue States can kill anything conversely any really bad amendment like eliminating the 2nd Amendment could be killed by 13 Red States.

When the meat of God’s wrath falls upon the Americans heads many will die of fright and panic...Reminds me of the last song Johnny Cash sung before his death called “When the Man Comes around”...

Even if he is elected we will have to keep swinging and swinging and never relax or let up one bit.

Yes, the evil ones will never go away. They will never stop wanting what they want. They've come so close now they can taste it. They're getting more and more brazen and open about what they want. This is a fight that will never end. Either we give in or we fight forever. There's no resting. There's no victory.

Deuteronomy 28: 43-45

43 “Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power, while you gradually lose yours. 44 They will have money to lend you, but you will have none to lend them. In the end they will be your rulers.

45 “All these disasters will come on you, and they will be with you until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the Lord your God and keep all the laws that he gave you.

There is now, no country on the face of the earth that honors God.

Quote
Perhaps in 100 or 200 years there may be light on the other side of the tunnel if there are any 1st world Christians left.
.....

The bible predicts about 2,000 cubits of distance that Israel had to stay from the Ark in Joshua.

The bible predicts about 2,000 demon possessed swine years within Satan’s Legion of 6,000.

The bible predicts a period of darkness or a Peres, a breach, between the two periods of Light, or Zerah.

When the Light and the Ark left, to return to Heaven, the bible predicted that the world and even the Church, would become infested and corrupted, and serpent led..

A nation that began with 13 Colonies, as Christ began with Him and His 12, and a nation that grew to 50 states, as the New Covenant Church grew at 50, has a prophetic past, present and future that may indeed lead to the grave.

Or it gets its tail grabbed and transforms back into law and order and justice instead of the serpent’s lawlessness and disorder and just us..

It would help unbelieving Israel to believe in their deliverance and prepare them from the Return of the Light to this world.

That’d be quite a plan for a nation. That’d be quite a plan for the Church too.
Used as a vessel and signs that can cause Israel to believe and prepare for the Messiah to return ...

For the sake of the elect, it better not be a third hour of darkness, or another 1,000 years.

The breach,Peres, is followed by the Light,in Judas’ family tree. Judas’ family tree have may offered a spiritual parable of the Judah priesthood of Christ and the New Covenant Church..
Light-Darkness-Light..

The Light at the end of the tunnel would actually be the end of what we would call the last about ‘2,000 years’,or the Church Age.

Doubt that would preach in too many churches.
And probably wouldn’t do too well in the DC captain or its 50.

A course correction is needed.

Who grabs Satan’s tail in America?
Who grabs Satan’s tail in the Church?

If you had made a list of all the actions a “president”

The only two items on Biden’s agenda that he hasn’t crippled or killed are one party government and globalism.
