Many people get railroaded by various parts of the society.
Depending upon the ethnicity of the ruling class in power
impacts the outcome.
I don’t think it’s that at all.
The reason the charges against President Trump only make him more popular is because they are obviously false charges being brought by his obviously corrupt political opponents.
People are stupid, but not THAT stupid.
I’ve talked to hundreds of people over the last several years and half of them hate Trump and hope he dies in prison. But I doubt very many of those people actually believes he deserves it. After a few drinks they would admit it’s all politics - they want their side to win and locking Trump up seems like the best way right now.
For a lot of them, hoping Trump gets locked up is like hoping the other team’s quarterback gets badly injured. But then when the quarterback actually does get badly injured it’s not that great a feeling. The same is true of being on the side that wins by cheating (Democrats).
What they really care about is their precious abortions or forgiving their student debt, or legalizing marijuana, or raising the minimum wage, or whatever.
I think some of these Democrats actually have a conscience and might be getting tired of being on the side that cheats.
