This is a short interview, but it is one all of us here on Free Republic should watch. I know that we have differing views on a variety of subjects, but I truly believe that the vast majority of us will agree with what this brave lady, MTG, has to say.
Please watch, as I think it will unite this forum on those matters that count.

I have been angry with her in the past for supporting McCarthy but she has redeemed herself in my eyes.

Does anyone know the date this interview took place? Seems like at least a week ago. Maybe ten days? Just saying it seems like old news already, and the “of one mind” that MTG and Tucker are with respect to fundamental issues, however totally correct they are about them, and they are totally correct, is not attaching significant others among DC Republicans. It must be frustrating for MTG. Throw a party, so to speak, and nobody who says (in private) they agree with you ends up showing up.

I did watch this interview the other day, and it did soften my feelings toward MTG. I did have to rethink my harsh thinking.
I really turned on her when she fought for McCarthy, and hearing her explanation did make sense. I still think it was wrong, but it made sense. I’ll have to listen again, as I did not hear her explanation on the debt ceiling, which is disastrous. I am assuming that was inextricably tied to the McCarthy support.
I stopped to think how unbelievably difficult it must be to wade into that cesspool and try to swim against the current. Every day you wake up, you know you’re going to be fought, hated, lied about, lied to, and the viciousness of those people knows no ends. There are very few people who will put themselves through that, as we are witnessing. Very few.
So, MTG is not perfect, but she’s human and if she makes some miscalculations on some people, well, she has good company! President Trump trusted people and found out the hard way that he shouldn’t have. I believe McCarthy was one of those he trusted!
Sometimes it’s pretty amazing how people who do very little in the fight can sit back and expect perfection of those willing to jump into the slimy pit of DC.
