The Atlantic is another of the media security blankets for the left. When the emotion driven & unstable lefties need reassurance that the bs they’ve believed and been fed all their lives is challenged by facts and reality, they can turn to these outlets for reassurance that the fantasy is real and they are ok. Once reassured, they can then avoid the unpleasantness of the truth.
