One bit of holiday chaos I’m proud to partake in.

Well...I plan on having a Brown Friday.
It’ll be the day after my yuge all-day Thanksgiving food-fest...and the Brown’s gonna flow on Friday.
I will definitely be squeezing the Charmin.

....when people start dumping their Thanksgiving leftovers down the disposal, in both the kitchen and the bathroom, leading to massive backups. Like many people, I have a disposal in my kitchen, but I certainly don't have one in my bathroom, and I don't know anyone who does.

I was at a Christmas party some years ago and a plumber was there as one of the guests. (He was the best dressed guy at the party.) As luck would have it, one of the kids stopped up a toilet and he was able to quickly fix the problem. Not a plumber but as a father of four, I've mastered the art of removing a toilet to dislodge whatever item my kids tried to flush only to get jammed up in the toilet trap.
I keep a spare wax wing and some flanges and bolts in the garage to save me a trip to Home Depot.

If solids plug the toilet, put plenty of dish soap in the toilet, let stand a while, and then plunge. Works every time.

IF you live on a septic tank-—THERE SHOULD BE NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL AT ALL.
IF you need to keep your drains clear-—
Look into BIO-Clean.
google it. Available at Amazon.
Have used it for years on septic tanks. NO problems
