The Republicans were never a third party.
Maybe in the Republican Party, but not in the country as a whole.
It should be our constant goal: replace RINO with MAGA every election cycle.
A lot of those candidates are going to lose, and lose races that could have been won.
Arguably, in the 1856 Presidential election, the Republicans were competing with the Know Nothing Party for the position of second party. As the Know Nothing Party collapsed, dividing over the slavery issue as the Whigs had done, the antislavery faction joined the Republicans. The 1958 Congressional elections placed the Republicans as the main opposition party on Congress. In 1860, as in 1948, the Democrats split into three factions. By that point, the Republicans were clearly the second party. Unlike 1948, the Democratic spin offs were strong enough to allow Lincoln to win, despite not receiving a single electoral vote from the South.
The Republicans came out of the chute as one of the two dominant parties, the Whigs only lasted about 21 years and the American Party never amounted to much, in that 1856 Presidential election it was between the Democrats and the Republicans fighting for electoral votes.
I agree with the historians and Michael Medved that the GOP was never really a third party.
Its already been revamped. Its called MAGA.
To BlackAddresses-To appreciate the great Walter E. Williams(deceased) just check out one of his lectures on YouTube.
He suggested that one critic should ‘go out and play in the traffic’.
For Christmas he gave his wife a new pair of golf shoes, the kind with metal spikes on the soles. That way she won’t slip and fall in the driveway when she goes outside to scrape the snow off his car’s windshield.
I believe there is a Constitution Party
Trump inc wing needs to take power from the eunuchs
