What is the secular basis of Judaism? Practical need; self-interest. What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly god? Money. Very well, then! Emancipation from huckstering and money—consequently from practical, real Judaism—would be the self-emancipation of our time. […]Right; “has become”. It is somehow 1843 and not 2023.
… Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man and turns them into commodities. Money is the universal self-established value of all things. It has, therefore, robbed the whole world—both the world of men and nature—of its specific value. Money is the estranged essence of man’s work and man’s existence, and this alien essence dominates him, and he worships it.
The god of the Jews has become secularized and has become the god of the world. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange. …
— Karl Marx, “On ‘The Jewish Question’”
The Nazis were of course, extreme Left - not extreme Right.
They were SOCIALISTS after all.
Only to be expected as we near the end times.
Thank you for setting the record straight. I stopped reading after that sentence about the Nazis being right wing, blah blah blah.
Marx writing this was, IMHO, driven by resentment of his father - a successful hardworking man who was disappointed with Karl’s lack of success or a career path.
The Jews are no longer necessary for the revolution.
The Jews were never the issue (except to Satan), because the issue is never the issue, the issue is always the revolution.
Anyone who has read Hitler's biographies will find nothing in them that shows socialist or communist leanings. Hitler was a pure opportunist.
Hitler's idea of socialism was nationalism.
He was an avowed hater of Marx and Bolshevism. When asked about the word "socialism" in National Socialist German Workers' Party, Hitler said, "We are going to take "socialism" back from the socialists and Marxists." He didn't mean that he was going to destroy private property and redistribute income. He meant that Germany was going to be for Germans.
Yep.
A standard lie of the Left. I was thinking the same thing as I read this.
Banning private ownership of guns and controlling the media.
This is what the Nazis did - as do ALL LEFT-WING.
The two were inextricably bound in his view. There was no room for individual rights or indeed for the individual at all.
“The day of individual happiness has passed,” Hitler returned. “Instead, we shall feel a collective happiness. Can there be any greater happiness than a National Socialist meeting in which speakers and audience feel as one? It is the happiness of sharing. Only the early Christian communities could have felt it with equal intensity. They, too, sacrificed their personal happiness for the higher happiness of the community.”......."Why need we trouble to socialize banks and factories? We socialize human beings.” - Adolf Hitler
To the Nazis, there could be no true socialism that was not nationalist in character with everybody wrapped up in "the people's community". Sure they would let you continue to manage your factor or small business instead of dropping some party flunkie in to take over who had no idea what he was doing. But woe betide you if you did not do what the government wanted. You were to produce the goods the government wanted and not other goods. You were to produce them in the quantities the government wanted and the prices and your profits would be strictly controlled by the government. The Nazis were absolutely Socialists.
Well, Janet, despite your more-or-less universal understanding, that is and always has been an outright lie.
Which you would know if you actually did your homework, and not just imbibe all the leftist lies.
BTTT
The difference is, theoretically at least, that in a socialist system, property is owned by the community at large. In strictly totalitarian systems (pure dictatorships), all property is owned and controlled by the government, period.
BTW, Hitler intended to establish at true totalitarian form of government. He only paid lip service to the desires of the people.
If you have studied Hitler, you will know that he had his own definition of “socialism” and it didn’t mean what Marx or Lenin intended it to mean.
Yes, I have studied Hitler - quite extensively. Sure he had differences with Marx. So did Lenin with whom Hitler also had differences. They were all espousing different variations of socialism though just as Trotsky differed from Stalin. Mussolini and Hitler were both men of the Left. The Fascism they advocated was clearly a form of socialism. They were each closer to Stalin's "Socialism-in-one-country" than Trotsky's global socialism. The Mensheviks differed from the Bolsheviks. They differed somewhat from Mao. They were ALL SOCIALISTS.
The 2 huge socialist movements of the twentyth century had cores of Jew hatred and we’re supposed to be surprised when today’s socialists now openly express that same hatred?
What socialism in general really hates is The Creator that it strives to usurp.
100 years after Adolph Hitler became the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party, socialist and labor union leaders are still insisting that Hitler was a Right Wing radical.
Hitler was a Socialist Totalitarian.
His central motivation to govern was a pathological hatred of European Jews.
Hating Israel and Jews comes from the devil, through people and political forces that serve his evilness. It can be characterized as “far-right” or “far-left” all day long; but that doesn’t make it so. Its roots are “far-deep” in its seething, raging hatred of the God of the Bible.
Anti-semitism (since so many people call it that), when expressed en masse, is totalitarianism, no matter whether it enters stage-right or stage-left. It bears the same earmarks of brutal tyranny right down to the way they control speech, even to the way they goose-step.
For that matter, name one of his biographers of note who says that Hitler was an ideological socialist.
He used populism because of the depression in post-WWI Weimer Germany. He never expressed any interest in the people...only in German nationalism.
You are blinded by your bias.
The Nazis were right wingers because Stalin said so, except for the period at the beginning of WWII when he and Hitler pretended to like each other.
