The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defensive operations in the east and an offensive operation in the south of Ukraine. During the past 24 hours, more than 30 combat clashes took place.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
Thus, the five hundred and sixty-third day of large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
The adversary continues to ignore the laws and customs of warfare, uses terror tactics characteristic of the Kremlin, carries out missile and air strikes, fires multiple rocket launchers not only at the military but also at a significant number of civilian objects of our state. Unfortunately, as a result of such terrorist actions by the Russian occupying forces, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, destroyed residential buildings, and damaged civilian infrastructure.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defensive operations in the east and an offensive operation in the south of Ukraine, destroy the enemy, and step by step liberate the temporarily occupied territories.
More than 30 combat clashes took place during the past day. The enemy launched 13 missiles and 64 air strikes, carried out more than 50 attacks from rocket salvo systems both on the positions of our troops and on civilian objects of our state.
Yesterday, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 20 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type, 16 of which were destroyed by Ukrainian air defenses. Also, the civilian population of the cities of Sumy and Kryvy Rih suffered from cynical rocket attacks.
The settlements of Bolohivka, Petropavlivka, Kyslivka of the Kharkiv region, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, Yampolivka, Zarichne, Siversk, Vesele, Bila Hora, Severne, Stepove, Krasnohorivka, Urozhayne, Staromayorske of the Donetsk region, Novodarivka, Chervone, Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Robotyne, Yasna Poliana of the Zaporizhzhia region, Kozatske, Odradokamianka of the Kherson region. were hit by enemy airstrikes.
More than 50 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions came under enemy artillery fire.
In the VOLYN and POLISSIA directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
In the SIVERSK and SLOBOZHANSK directions, the enemy continues to hold groups of troops covering the state border, conducts active diversionary activities in the border areas to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions.
In the area of responsibility of the Operational and strategic grouping of troops “Khortytsia” in the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut directions, the enemy does not stop trying to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Synkivka, Novoyehorivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, and south-eastern Dibrova, as well as to regain control of positions in the areas of Klishchiivka, Andriivki, and Kurdiumivka.
In order to replenish irreversible losses, the enemy continues to transfer reserves to the specified directions and completes assault groups mainly at the expense of prisoners. In this way, the Kremlin continues to get rid of undesirable segments of its society.
In the area of responsibility of the Operational and strategic grouping of troops “Tavria” in the Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Shakhtarsk directions, the Defense Forces have the initiative, to continue to press the enemy, carry out assault operations, and retake our land meter by meter.
Ukrainian defenders are successfully defending near AVDIIVKA and MARIINKA, where during the day the enemy made more than 10 unsuccessful attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. In addition, all enemy attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Krasnohorivka, and Prechystivka of the Donetsk region ended for the occupiers only with significant losses in both manpower and equipment.
In the MELITOPOL direction, the defense forces continue the offensive operation, inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying troops, and force the enemy to withdraw from the occupied positions. In turn, the enemy throws the most combat-capable units of the airborne troops in this direction and tries to restore the lost position. Thus, more than 10 such attempts were repelled by the Defense Forces in the Robotyne region of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the KHERSON direction, our defenders continue to hold captured positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, conduct a counter-battery fight, destroy ammunition depots, and inflict successful damage on the enemy’s rear.
During the past 24 hours, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 9 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel of weapons and military equipment, 1 control point, and 1 position of the enemy’s anti-aircraft missile complex.

I will confirm that in the past you have commented on many topics not related to Ukraine. You certainly have been here a long time. (As if Ukraine was a significant topic on FR through, say, the Dubya years!) :-)
Unfortunately, FR has an exceedingly primitive search function, so if one has been getting very many replies on a particular topic or topics, or posting a lot of information, it is virtually impossible to go back long at all and find anything! (I know, I’ve wanted to go back and find links, etc., and if one didn’t bookmark a thread or comment to their browser, it’s hopeless. Too bad - a ton of useful info. is buried in FR’s past.)
In this case, I believe the poster is not only a flat out liar, they are trying to bait you into such a hopeless endeavor (going back and finding those old posts) so that you don’t have time to post current information. This sort of person makes no serious argument and is worth only mirth or and pity.

I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred sixty third day of the war.
Day 563: Sep 09
Today, there are a lot of updates from the Tokmak direction.
First of all, today, it was confirmed that Ukrainians secured one of the most important supply roads in the bridgehead and started reinforcing the region to ramp up the offensive operation.
As you can see, the road to Robotyne goes very close to the contact line, and if the northern section was more or less secured because Ukrainians established a buffer zone consisting of several fields and tree lines, then the southern section went right in front of Russian trenches and fortification, meaning that Russians had complete fire control.
However, recently release footage showed how Russians are shelling the trenches and fortifications adjacent to the road, which confirms that Ukrainians finally pushed Russians out of their positions west of Robotyne. So far, there is no evidence that 2 other trench networks nearby are under Ukrainians, however, most sources indicate that the whole filed is at least in the grey zone.
As Russians lost crucial fortifications around Robotyne and retreated in all directions, the pressure on Ukrainian logistics was alleviated, and Ukrainians visibly increased the potency of their attacks on Verbove and recently breached one more defense line.
The second line of defense consists of several lines of fortifications. The first line of fortifications was created to prevent a mechanized breakthrough, which is why it has an anti-tank ditch, dragon teeth, and similar fortifications. The second line of fortifications was geared to resist infantry assaults, which is why it has a lot of firing positions and is broken down into smaller units.
Around a week ago, Ukrainians successfully breached the first part of the defense line, as can be seen from the footage made by Ukrainian fighters who passed dragon teeth on their way to the contact line.
After that, there was a small tactical pause, and as Russian analysts concluded, Ukrainians were preparing for the second powerful push because they were seen reinforcing this region with elements from the 82nd Brigade. The analysts predicted that the main vector of attack would come south of Verbove, where Ukrainians would try to make a deep penetration and cut off Russian supplies to the village.
And this is exactly what happened. The choice of the target is not surprising because if we look at the topographic map, we can see that this is where the Russian defense line is in the lowlands and, therefore, at its weakest tactical position.
In order to simplify the job of the infantry, Ukrainians concentrated their artillery and drone fire on this section of the defense line. Geolocated footage shows how Ukrainians are shelling the tree lines with cluster munitions to undermine Russian defense.
Ukrainian drone operators from the 82nd Brigade also released a lot of videos of destroying Russian forces. The drone strikes were instrumental in preparation for assaults on extensive trench networks because even cluster shells are not as effective as a controlled drone that chases and hunts down Russians.
After a series of powerful ground operations that followed the artillery and drone strikes, the Russian defense south of Verbove was breached. Ukrainian fighters released a video confirming that they took control over new trenches and are preparing to storm the tree lines in front of them. Soon, the clashes moved south of Verbove, as indicated by the geolocated footage of Russian artillery strikes.
However, regular artillery strikes were not enough, and Russians started to fear that Ukrainians would indeed penetrate them deeper and cause a complete collapse. That is why Russians started engaging their aviation and dropping massive bombs on the fields to prevent Ukrainian advancement.
In the face of super-compensating resistance, Ukrainians decided to shift their focus on expanding control over the second line of defense to shave it off completely and open access to more opportunities. Nonetheless, it seems like Russians understood that the situation around Verobove is critical, and its defense is bound to repeat the story of Robotyne,
which is why they started building new defenses east of Verbove. Satellite footage from Planet Labs shows that if previously Russians had only an anti-vehicle ditch, then. Now they also added dragon teeth behind it.
