We could fix the debates. Every candidate given exact same amt of time. When candidate talks, clock runs. When time is up candidate is done. Interrupting counts as time used. No moderator. Candidates rotate and pick their own topic.
Attack an opponent and person attacked gets to respond and time taken from attackers clock.
A debate should be about the people who had guts to run and not moderators. I say this as one who has been on that stage 27 times over 2 cycles. The current system is tv show and not a debate.
The current format fosters a food fight and encourages free for all yelling over each other. Not helpful to voters.
I debated in high school and college and these are “group interviews” and not debates. The candidates should determine the topics. Let them debate each other instead of feeling they need to debate the moderators.

Hobbs has been out of state since Sunday and was not set to return until Thursday morning.
Secretary of State Adrian Fontes was scheduled to leave Wednesday night. And Attorney General Kris Mayes also is gone.
Strictly speaking, that has left Yee in charge.
But no acting governor in decades, however, has actually attempted to circumvent or countermand actions taken by the elected governor. And Yee said she would not use that power to fill what she said are the 13 vacancies or call the Legislature into special session.
We have received word that in a violation of our state constitution, @katiehobbs appointed the SAME person as head of ALL 13 state agencies.
Until this is remedied, anything done by these agencies is likely legally null & void.

FBI Arrests Air Force One Stairs For Plot To Assassinate Biden

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced today it has arrested the Air Force One stairs and charged them with a plot to assassinate the president.
“After an extensive investigation, we now believe stairs are a credible threat to the President’s life,” said FBI spokesperson Ed Leslie. “Suspicion arose after repeated incidents in which the president nearly lost his life entering Air Force One. We are proud to say the threat has been neutralized.”
Reports indicate the Air Force One stairs have been transferred to an undisclosed location where they are being detained for further questioning. Sources within the Department of Justice disclosed further details from the investigation. “This plot goes deep,” one insider said under the condition of anonymity. “We have reason to believe these stairs have ties to dangerous organizations like the Proud Boys, which would fall in line with the stairs’ radical, right-wing extremist ideology.”
The White House declined to discuss the arrest in detail but did offer a brief comment. “These stairs were a holdover from the previous administration,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. “This may provide insight into the motivation to attack President Biden. Anything that was involved with President Trump is a dangerous threat to democracy itself.”
At publishing time, additional federal charges were being filed against the Air Force One stairs after new eyewitness reports surfaced of the stairs being present at the U.S. Capitol riots on January 6, 2021.
