L&J looks like Joe’s in Gallup, NM, a little whole in the wall in downtown that has the best Mexican food in Gallup.
The last time we were up that way they were closed for remodeling, so we had to choose the 2nd best place to get our Mexican food fix.
That sounds good!
I much prefer family owned to chain especially for Mexican food.
Some of our great ones are now into the 3rd generation and working on the 4th.
If nothing else sounds good for dinner,I always have Tortilla chips and salsa! ;)
They lost their business in Longview from a fire and all thought was loss!
They Re-Open in our Town and people from all over pack this place!

The Mexican food restaurant we frequent the most up here is Sal & Teresa’s.
Back when our kids were little and played together, they both cooked for another Mexican restaurant.
We were thrilled when about 15 years ago they opened their own place in the next town over from us.
The last time we were there their daughter told up they were moving, they will be less than a mile from us and we don’t even have to get out onto the crazy highway to get there.
We were thrilled again.
Definitely have to include fajitas, too.
This place has the best!
