Couple considerations. How large a group? Age spectrum?
Introduce by acknowledging there are different levels of knowledge and you’re going to pretend everyone knows nothing. I’d at this point get a show of hands on who feels say have a good knowledge of the subject. Explain that it is a real phenomenon not a conspiracy theory. Gives a different ways it could happen from an innocent local situation to an international terrorist attack. Explain all the potential problems that can occur regarding banking, communication, power and damage to various chip controlled products including vehicles.
Some prep ideas? Maybe on handout sheet. Another vast subject
Explain the Faraday box and possibility of phones in your microwave might be protected.
Cusp if you have a large crowd you might after your 15 minute introduction divide them into smaller groups with at least one knowledgeable person there and let them talk among themselves just to bring up concerns and answer more questions.
These are just my ideas. You’ve been asked in 30 minutes to cover some thing that could be an entire college semester course. So you’ve excepted a hefty challenge

One of the neat things about moving here after 57 years in the desert is that fall actually lands about when it does on the calendar.
One of the bad things is that spring is similar. I’m used to Spring Being in february, with the blossoms on the orange and almond orchards. But even at the end of March it’s not warm enough to plant, we’re supposed to wait till the middle of may. This year we had a frost the first of May so I see why now.
If I feel like driving around ill see if I spot any of those white government buses, make sure they pass through town, lol. I saw one behind Whataburger awhile back, just parked, but no one going or coming out.
Now if only we could remedy this pie sharing dilemma!

In the medical field we call it bed side manners, where the MD will explain something in simple terms and not overwhelm them with technical terms that most people do not know are able to comprehend. This is a great help to the patient and family and gives them more confidence that the MD actually cares.
