I’m usually an October to February knitter as well lol. But her birthday is in early October, so I had to get started. Plus I hadn’t knit for awhile, so I had to give myself enough time to rip it out and start over when I goofed up. Turns out, it’s like riding a bike. Didn’t miss a beat. Or a stitch.
I finished it early, it was sitting on the table, they stopped in and saw it, and that’s why I have to buy something else for her birthday now lol.

She reminds me of those giant wax lips we used to buy when we were kids. I can’t remember ever eating them, but they could have been some kind of edible thing. First you could hang onto them with your teeth and look like you had huge lips. Then her eyes are so blackened that she looks like she’s got a couple of shiners. But the cleavage in your face helps distract. Needless to say, I don’t care for her, but never did, way back to her bouncing leg on The Five.

One year, I knitted hats for everyone for Christmas, my husband and kids, my siblings, nieces and nephews, and DH’s siblings, nieces and nephews. It was like 40- something hats. Never again! By the end my hands ached so much!
