Yep, People should understand that American law enforcement agencies these days are staffed by egomaniacal, explosively violent, and unpredictable psychopaths who are prone to kill anyone who doesn’t immediately submit to their awesome awesomeness. Not to mention they like to kill the occasional bystanders and random dogs.

Nope, not the cooler, it was the tree that decide to stop him abruptly. In the video you can see where the larger cop pulls the scooter off of him, then he stands up abruptly and does a quick 180 turn. My guess is that his noggin was less intact than it was prior to meeting the tree.

What is policy for stoping a fleeing suspect in a drug case?

Can the cop tackle him?

"clothes-line" him off the bike?

Block the escape route?

I think the cop will prevail....especially because there's no clear racial element (which shouldn't matter in a legitimate legal assessment)
