Interesting anecdote - a couple of my college acquaintances who lived near the Commie epicenter of Commiesota [Minneapolis-St. Paul] and are fervent Democrat voters, moved out of that socialist heaven immediately after retirement.

You see - Minnesota taxes Social Security benefits.   

They moved their Lib voting habits to another state that doesn't tax Social Security - so they could foul that nest.
