Sorry but I’m not reading trolls much today. Apply elsewhere.

Funny. I made a post that included a link to the 2005 PubMed paper in early 2020, before Trump had even mentioned hydrochlorquine as being an option. No one replied to that post so I don’t know if anyone bothered to read the paper.

Anyway when Trump did mention HCQ I figured that his people had done the same thing that I had, which was to plug “SARS” into the NIH search engine and see what popped up. There weren’t many studies at the time but that was one of them.

The study is actually about CQ rather than HCQ, HCQ being a less harsh version of the same drug. The 2005 researchers had applied CQ to Green Monkey Kidney tissue that had been infected with SARS. They got excellent results. CQ worked great on the infected Vero 81 cells in the lab.

The problem is what works on monkey tissue in vitro doesn’t always transfer to humans, in vivo. And it wasn’t until SARS-2 showed up that CQ/HCQ could be tried on live humans.

It was tried many times, results were posted at PubMed for anyone to read. In one attempt Vietnam gave HCQ to all of their nurses in the hope that it would protect them from infection. The nurses contracted Covid at the same rate that they did when they hadn’t been taking HCQ. Apparently that was the typical experience. What worked in the lab didn’t work in the real world.

“Sorry but I’m not reading trolls much today. Apply elsewhere.”

You need to remember that you didn’t post this thread on the Safe Space for Qtards.

This is the general forum where the adults get to respond at will to the idiotic things that you love to post.

If “trolls” bother you then you better scurry back to the protected zone where you will be safe from being triggered, snowflake.

I know I posted in the forum and I’m happily ignoring troll content posts. Show me on the doll where that hurts you.

Actually, in her defense, this is what she claimed here on this thread in her post #21, not that the lipid nanoparticles are in and of themselves dangerous (although it’s possible she has claimed that elsewhere, but I’ve not noticed tat particular claim):

“If weaponized Covid only exists in vero monkey kidney cells and was somehow exposed to humans, our immune system would identify it and destroy it as a threat because it’s from monkey cells. You’d have to manufacture Covid in lipid pouches to infect the public. Note that the Covid ‘vaccine’ used lipid pouches to ferry the mRNA past the human immune system without detection - that technique or a similar one.”

An assumption on her part I then disproved in my #74. The whole virus doesn’t need no stinkin’ lipid envelope to infect humans. It’s got its nice spikey outer shell to protect its RNA innards. The fragile snippet of mRNA used in the vaccines, on the other hand, does need that teensy gob of fat for protection.

And just because a virus was cultured in a cell line originally derived from the epithelial cells taken from the kidney of an African green monkey (an immortal cell line known as Vero and widely used in biomedical research and as a substrate in vaccine production) does not mean it can’t infect humans because “our immune system would identify it and destroy it as a threat because it’s from monkey cells” — nope, if a virus can infect humans, it doesn’t matter whether it was cultured in monkey cells or human cells, it will still do its infecting thing. Otherwise, Marburg would not have been so tragically discovered back in the 1960s.

Also, how would various zoonotic diseases that can sicken humans pass from various animals to humans if her assertion is correct? You can catch hantavirus from various rodents, or rabies from a dog or bat, and on an on and so on. Your immune system doesn’t destroy viruses before they can sicken you just because it recognizes them as coming from the cells of another animal species. Her assertions simply don’t stand up.

It’s true that there are viruses that humans cannot catch from animals, but it’s not because our immune systems recognize them as originating in animal cells; it’s because, to put it simply, those viruses lack the machinery to gain access to our human cells, but do have the machinery to get inside susceptible cells in certain animals. It’s been demonstrated SARS-CoV-2 does indeed have the necessary machinery to “break into” our human cells and we know just how it does it, by exploiting ACE2 receptors. Nasty sneaky little devils.

Anyway, every time she’s faced with factual challenges to her claims, she just screams “troll” and runs off (and/or sics her ankle-biters from the Special Q Thread on the “offending” party). “Troll” seems to be their magic word for warding off reason and logic and facts lest these should puncture their pet conspiracy theories. We couldn’t have that!

The funny thing is, there really was collusion, even what could be called a conspiracy. and a cover-up involving what could be well called a conspiracy. A series of conspiracies. To start with, among those who funded and aided and abetted that risky GoF research on dangerous bat viruses in that dodgy leaky Chinese lab. Those who evaded the US moratorium on GoF by moving it to Cbina, who shared the GoF technology with Bat Lady, coached Bat Lady on GoF techniques. Then those in the Chinese government who tried to hide it after knew it had escaped the lab in Wuhan, then the ones who wrote papers claiming it just had to be of “natural” origin, pangolins, bat soup and all.

It spanned several continents, but only involved some tens of people at its core. Governments went along with it because it was to their advantage — there was considerable rage at first among the people in many countries, anger at this plague being visited upon us, and if there had been government officials to blame, well ... it could have got so nasty. Better to wait for the real truth to slowly leak out after we were all enervated by everlasting lockdowns, isolation, and a constant barrage of fearmongering.

But some people would rather make up their own conspiracy theories or those concocted by others than accept the real deal when it happens, and the origin of Covid in that leaky Wuhan lab, followed by various cover-ups afterward was the real deal. It’s even fairly well documented now.

Apparently Cat Herder isn’t aware that you long ago abandoned acknowledging that lunatic Expose theory about the Covid virus “never existing”

What? I missed that too!

That was one of my favorites. Over the top comedy gold, that. Though I'm confident that we'll be treated to new material, as in the instant case.

I am enjoying the hallucinated new primate species "vero monkey", hoping that gets further embroidery in the near future.

To be fair to her, she must have meant Vero cell lines, derived from an African green monkey, not Vero monkey. She’s not a scientist and has no medical background, so it’s not that hard to scramble the lingo and come up with something like “Vero monkey kidney cells”. No one with a science background would write or say “vero monkey kidney cells” but someone who has no clue what they are talking about or knows that Vero is the name for that immortalized cell line might:

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2657228/

https://blog.genofab.com/vero-cells

I’m still wondering why she posted this Expose piece with Yeadon saying the Covid virus does not exist if she’s abandoned her old theory. But then, human beings often don’t make sense.

“That was one of my favorites. Over the top comedy gold, that.”

Yes. Yes it was.

Those who aren’t following the never ending adventures of the Exposé crowd and their war against coherence don’t know what they’re missing.

I, too, am looking forward to the next installment. Hopefully it will involve alien biochemistry in addition to the usual collaboration of Big Pharma with Satan.

Well of course that was what she was trying to say, but after repeated posting of the “ambiguous headline” joke my composure failed, and I made my silly jape.

We’ve always had our earnest kooks on the right, and it’s always been hard to figure out in advance what they would pick as the hobby horse to ride that will utterly discredit their more reasonable points.

But with this Expose website, I have to get my own tin-foil hat out. It can be read as the rantings of a sincere but deranged mind, cynical grifting, a CIA psyop, or some combination of all of the above. It’s impossible to tell from the material itself.
