Good post, CB!
Pray is the key word.
We must pray without ceasing, morning, noon and night!
Bawhahahaha!!
I just know that running from either a black bear, a grizzly bear or a mountain lion isn't an option, can't outrun them.
Two guys in the woods met a bear, one started running.
The other guy said hey, you can't outrun a bear.
The running guy said, I only have to outrun you.
“I only have to outrun you”
😆
That’s what people here have told me about Cooper, that he can be the bait. No way! I think they were joking, they take really good care of their animals.
Was that “monthly” thread when weston took over posting from “weekly” to a monthly thread?
I think it was and we had a discussion then about calling the Dose the weekly thread even though it would be posted for a month.
Will admin change it even though I didn’t post that thread?
And wouldn’t I have to go find it to point it out to them?
CAT IN A HAT!!
Yeah, Cadbury!
Such a cutie.
This is sooooo bizarre and getting more so daily.....

“CAT IN A HAT!!”
Ha, I didn’t even think of that!
Good morning. When I started the Trump train after the Inauguration it was a weekly thread -the reason being is it was an archival thread and there was so much to include every week. It took me 6 to 8 hours to get it ready to coordinate all the literature get them in order and make it decent.
That went on for a couple years. You remember Trump was very busy did a lot of things and there was a lot of good photographs and write ups. My health then started having health issues and I just couldn’t do it every week it would slide to 10 days two weeks a month it just varied. The whole time I did the Trump train I was living in my van and so when I wanted to do the thread, I had to go to the library at night and park in front and use their Wi-Fi. I would charge my MacBook Pro either at a restaurant or at our local park pavilion
Sright now there’s not as much Trump news so there’s really not the need for a weekly thread or maybe even a monthly thread. Going two mo this is okay for me. Whatever the thread posters desire is top priority.
If he gets elected I believe we’re going to need to go back to a weekly thread if you want it to be archival. I have the archives all listed on the Trump train page so you can go to the threads
Getting rain here. More puttering in kitchen today

Texas official who switched to GOP feared being called a ‘traitor’ for abandoning Democrat Party
Kleberg County, Texas Attorney Kira Talip Sanchez joined “Fox & Friends” Monday after announcing she was switching to the Republican Party, citing the border crisis as a key issue in her decision.
“In recent years, I feel like my former party has moved further left and it’s no longer aligned with my values,” Talip told the show.
“As County Attorney, I have been proud to work with law enforcement to ensure the safety of the citizens of Kleberg County,” Sanchez said in a statement. “There is an unprecedented crisis at our southern border. I believe that the GOP’s policies of law and order protecting safety, and backing the blue best align with my values and the values of the citizens of Kleberg County.”
Sanchez, whose parents are Mexican immigrants, told Fox News Monday she was raised with conservative values.
“As a Hispanic, we were told, you know, ‘Hispanics are Democrats,’ and that is not really the case. I feel like a lot of Hispanic Americans are Republican, and they don’t even know it,” she said.
Sanchez’s role includes running the Specialized Crimes and Narcotics Task Force, which proactively targets criminals engaged in trafficking weapons, drugs, persons and currency.
After working alongside Border Patrol and Operation Lone Star, Sanchez said she witnessed firsthand the crisis at the southern border swell into a “big problem.”
I saw her on Newsmax this AM, talked about how the open border is bringing in drugs and human trafficking in and she believes it needs to be halted.

Texas law banning COVID-related mandates by local governments takes effect this week
SAN ANTONIO — Despite the rising number of COVID-19 cases throughout the state, Governor Greg Abbott said there will be no mask mandates in Texas. Soon, there will be a new law in place to back up his statement.
On September 1, local governments will be prohibited from requiring COVID-related masks, vaccines, or business shutdowns. However, Senate Bill 29 does not restrict private entities from enforcing their own rules.
Prayers up for Steve. 🙏

After a few days of not feeling like myself this past week, I had some blood work done. The results uncovered some irregularities and after undergoing additional tests, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a very treatable blood cancer.
I have now begun treatment, which will continue for the next several months. I expect to work through this period and intend to return to Washington, continuing my work as Majority Leader and serving the people of Louisiana’s First Congressional District.
I am incredibly grateful we were able to detect this early and that this cancer is treatable. I am thankful for my excellent medical team, and with the help of God, support of my family, friends, colleagues, and constituents, I will tackle this with the same strength and energy as I have tackled past challenges.
