You want to use weasel words to describe an invasion and annexation, and then call others liars for stating the plain truth of the matter.
The presence of Russian troops is a reality, not a 'claim made by the West', same as the efforts at legal annexation that only a handful countries recognized.
Who would that be? Nicaragua, Russia, Syria, Venezuela and Nauru.

I object to is the deceitful way Russia's treatment and defense of what are objectively considered autonomous regions on its border is called an invasion and occupation
When Russia invades their neighbors and Syria and Nicaragua are the only countries that support it, mac_truck thinks this is an example of Russia 'objectively' acting in 'defense'.
