77 has two obscure mathematical properties; too arcane to describe here.
The element with atomic number 77 is Iridium [Ir].
Iridium's presence on Earth is linked to the ~ six-mile-wide meteor that blasted into the Yucatan peninsula ~ 65 million years ago, leaving a crater ~ 186 miles wide. The resultant explosion sparked vast fires, and sent clouds of dust into the atmosphere, which darkened the sky for so long that plants & creatures could not survive, thus killing all the dinosaurs. That's the theory.
Two other meteor impacts ~ 36 million years ago – in the Chesapeake Bay, and at Popigai in northern Russia – also left iridium deposits.
British chemist Smithson Tennant discovered iridium in 1803, at the same time he discovered osmium [Os]. He named the element iridium after Iris, the Greek goddess of the rainbow, because its salts were so colorful.
Iridium's hardness, corrosion resistance, & high melting point make it useful for industrial production: spark-plug tips, aircraft engine parts, & crucibles that can withstand intense heat.
For many years a meter was defined as the distance between two parallel lines engraved on a platinum-iridium bar kept in a vacuum chamber, at a controlled temperature, at the National Bureau of Weights & Measures.

Thanks for posting those. Kazakhstan... there is at least one DoD funded biolab there, too. And... a while ago (WHEN???) maybe around the time or just before Russia started the SMO (Special Military Operation) in Ukraine, the enemy tried to do a color revolution in Kazakhstan, and Russia sent some tanks and quelled it.
