I notice here and there that a lot of people who were tolerant of the LBGTS?WTF crowd are not so tolerant any more. The drag queen stuff has exposed that the children have been the target all along.

Yep! Fox Business holds out some hope but there are alternatives. The Deep State cabal is cementing its power over us; this Hunter Biden outrage is intended to enforce that point of view - as is the paste up criminal case against Donald Trump. Corruption is deep and wide.

I certainly pray that the storm is coming... it won't be pleasant however.

RFKJr is liberal in many ways. He hates the NRA and blames them for all gun deaths and thinks we shouldn’t have guns.

He’s good on vaxes.

Ever seen an avalanche caused by a massive boulder? Me neither. What gets an avalanche started? Generally, one small pebble.

Update from Michigan...

So, when I first started stretching my patriot legs as it were in February of 2021, I went to the first neighbor that had a Trump flag displayed. I was still new to the area having grown up about 30+ miles away and didn’t know many locals. Well, this neighbor came out on his porch to talk and he almost got hypothermia we were getting into it so well. A week or two later, he invited me to a local wedding chapel where people were gathering weekly to start sorting out good from bad of our local politicians. There’s several stories of how this began some years before November 2020, but I believe it was a side effort from a local state politician (very good Christian guy) that had realized he needed to reach out to his constituents not only to keep them advised of state politics but to garner help.

Turned out that my neighber was a retired Lt. Colonel, and had no end of stories about his service in the military, and also attended the local catholic church that I go to. He eventually helped me fill an empty precinct delegate slot that the county GOP team did a coin flip between his son and I (his son was attending college), and I won. We both attended the weekly meetings, but after a while he didn’t seem to show up much, usually his wife went more. Locally I got to know at least 30+ people by name out of this group.

I was diving into the political end of things, but also doing about 8-10 hours of online FR Q-threads and other research. Eventually I noticed most of the people at the weekly meeting were mostly precinct delegates, but also local business owners and/or concerned citizens. When the Ukraine war broke out in February 2022, a month later I finally broke down and had a “closed door” 20 minute download to the group on what was really going on. The FR research was apparently putting me ahead of a lot of people.

At times my wife and I would have our neighbor and his wife over for dinner, and I was also active with them at county & state conventions, like trying to get Matt Deperno, a lawyer that had done work for election integrity in Antrim county that quickly showed election skewing, in as the state AG. But he missed getting in during the November 2022 election, as well as the GOP candidate for Secretary of State Kristina Karamo.

The weekly Thursday meetings seemed to take an abrupt end in late August 2022, as the owners were going to do a trip to Europe for a month, and precinct delegates started up a serious election campaigning headquarters at a local business more dedicated to assembling & distributing campaign literature (delegates would walk their local precincts to distribute).

I thought that after the November 2022 election we could back off after all the campaigning and work trying to get some good candidates in. Turns out as a GOP precinct delegate and someone intent on straightening out massive election fraud, things were just getting going. Elections of county executive committee members start going in earnest (BIG place to start identifying RINOS), then follows state convention in February to elect state level GOP executive committee.

In November/early December, I tried going back up to the local wedding chapel to see about restarting up the weekly meetings. Despite, my best attempts, they didn’t want to have us start back up as our contributions each night weren’t enough for the heat/lights/snowplowing/insurance costs/hassle. So, I looked around for some other places when I could. But I had gotten into a “war room group” along the way (and again had to do some FreeQ training-apparently now my strong skillset *for some reason*). We couldn’t make as significant impact on the county executive committee as we’d have liked.

But boy did we start some housecleaning at the state level GOP convention in mid February.

I did what I could to make sure votes counted for GOP leadership didn’t get “ambiguated” on their way up to the stage during the three Chairman votes, and I wasn’t alone as other delegates who understood this was where some of our Rinos were mainly coming in to give our elections away were watching individual tallies, then taking photographs of the district ballot sheets before they headed up to the stage for final count assemblies. Kristina Karamo won handily over Matt Derperno despite every manipulation trick & rule change that seemed to pop up.

You may ask why we didn’t want Matt the lawyer in charge of the state GOP. Well, apparently Matt had been busted as a Deep State plant back around August, saying we should do things such as “out ballot harvest the Democrats” (illegal in Michigan law), as well as backing a big court battle in another county for the bad guys as they tried to exclude legally elected (pro-Trump) delegates.

So, I know I’m going long but it does head somewhere. As Deperno lost the state convention GOP chair seat, a local delegate friend of mine and I were taking a brief moment to bask in a local battle won. As delegates walked directly in front of us on their way out, my neighbor (the Lt. Colonel) and his wife somberly walked right in front of us without so much a glance in our direction much less a “hi, how’s it going”. I looked over to my delegate friend and just said “is it just me, or should we have ice skates on ‘cause it just got so cold in here?”.

Back in mid November, the Lt. Colonel sent a group text message that we should stay away from one of the new war room people (who I hadn’t met much up to that point). I pointed out to him separately that I’ll keep an eye out, but I wasn’t in the habit of letting people tell me who I can & can’t see, just as I wouldn’t think he’d let me do likewise to him. Next thing I know, his “wife” (definitely him using her phone) rattles off a rant about a couple other local war room folks that were no good and sullying his good name.

Then the message gets copied and repeated to the group about 8 more times.

At this point, I’m about done with him. Or so I think.

In trying to start up another weekly grassroots meeting, someone suggested that I try a local monastery where they know one of the brothers. Okay, I give it a whirl (I think this was maybe late March of this year?). So I call up there, and let them know I have a group of maybe 12-15 people that I just need a gathering space for. We get a night set up in a week or so, and I send out an e-mail to some of the local delegates in order to keep it small enough. I believe his wife is in the message.

Next thing I know, I get a call from the lady that recommended the monastery. Brother Richard had called her, saying that the Lt. Colonel had dropped by and told him that he should cancel the grassroots meeting as they were nothing but trouble.

And I get normie looks of losing my mind by pointing out Bush was an evil guy??

Well, I have the meeting anyway - no incidents, but still what the heck. Had a nice personal introductory meeting with Brother Richard, he’s now well on his way to being a FreeQ. But just recently I heard another clarification about the Lt. Colonel. Someone had another connection to the folks running the local wedding chapel, and come to find out they had been “advised” not to have any more grassroots meetings. Wanna guess who may have advised them? Same Lt. Colonel.

And I also heard he’s “the pool boy for a local rep”. 58+ year old Lt. Colonel pool boy with Homeland Security? You can’t make this stuff up.

Now, I know this has gone long, but I haven’t even gotten into all the cray-cray stuff. Someone let Jim Rob know I’d love to do a set (not one - a set) of Free Republic films I’ve got material for...

Enjoying the show here in Michigan. Carry on fellow FreeQs.
Uber Out.

China is muscling into power across America’s underbelly

https://nypost.com/2023/06/19/china-is-muscling-into-power-across-americas-underbelly/?dicbo=v2-1CfXJ6Z

Excerpt:

When Americans think about conflict with China, Taiwan comes to mind first.

Yet there’s a front off our shores as well, in the Caribbean.

Visit almost any island in the region, and you’ll confront evidence of Beijing’s reach.

Ten Caribbean nations participate in the “Belt and Road” initiative — Grenada, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname and of course Cuba.

These states owe much of their modern infrastructure, from roads and ports to energy and telecommunications, to Beijing’s patronage.

In Antigua, China Civil Engineering Construction Corp. built a new terminal for VC Bird International Airport.

In Jamaica, China Merchant Port Holdings owns the Port of Kingston outright.

Another Chinese company, Hutchison Ports, holds a controlling stake in the port complex at Freeport in the Bahamas.

Solar panels, health clinics, sports stadiums — Beijing underwrites them all.

“Chinese development banks offered a less time-consuming process than Western-dominated multilateral lending institutions, demanded less transparency and disclosure, and were often willing to supply credit at below market interest rates,” explains Scott B. MacDonald in a recent report for the Jamestown Foundation.

The United States prides itself on upholding a “rules-based international order.”

But for developing states, the rules can be burdensome.

China offers a cheap, no-questions-asked alternative.

Unfortunately for the borrowers, the fine print often includes “the option that, in the event of failure to pay, the Chinese lending institution would assume control of the asset in question.”

In an attempt to expand its military and economic presence across the globe, China is spending billions of dollars to influence the militaries and economies of vulnerable developing nations.

Nations that don’t sell their sovereignty willingly nonetheless face “the possibility China could use leverage gained through lending or ‘debt-trap diplomacy’ as a means for Beijing to gain control over strategic assets like harbors and railways.”

And China uses its economic pull to maximum political effect.

In 2018, the Dominican Republic broke diplomatic ties with Taipei and declared Taiwan “an inalienable part of Chinese territory.”

This year, Honduras followed suit.

Now part of Belt and Road, Honduras stands to gain greater investment in hydroelectric power, among other perks.

Chinese influence throughout Latin America is growing, but the Caribbean has special significance.

Five of the remaining 12 United Nations member states that recognize Taipei as a national capital are Caribbean — Haiti, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Belize.

Even if China can’t lure them all into Belt and Road, these countries increasingly have to think about Beijing as they navigate relationships with their own neighbors. China’s strategic interests are now locally embedded.

Where superpowers are concerned, globalization is never just an economic phenomenon. It’s political — and military — too.

Diplomatically isolating Taiwan is one of China’s aims in the Caribbean.

Another is to exploit American sensitivity to provocations in our own backyard.

.....If a rival like China wants to divert America’s attention from Asia, even a modest nuisance in the Caribbean might suffice.

Right now China’s capacity to stir up such a commotion is limited.

But the more sway Beijing gains over the economically vulnerable and politically rather fragile states of the Caribbean, the more the potential for mischief grows — mischief that could shake the world order.
*******

A weak FJB encouraging this but can China truly expand in our hemisphere. Demographics will start catching up to China’s grandiose plans. Their quality of product is still horrible and with no first world allies in our hemisphere their supply chain can easily be interrupted. Most of these nations will regret their involvement with China. IMO China will use Cuba to establish a foothold as long as FJB is around.
