We all knew that there would be a “deal” to raise the debt limit. What we still don’t know is if this “deal” will cost Kevin McCarthy the speakership.
It looks like at least 10 Republican House members will vote against this bill. The problem is at least 50 Democrat members will vote for this bill. This bill will pass the House.
So as it turns out, isn’t electing him Speaker “a rather extravagant” means of protecting one seat in SoCal? In hindsight, mind you.

And our irs loving rinos....
Oh, I suspect the progressives will go for it. No matter how McCarthy tries to spin the deal, it not a win for conservatives. Democrats have nothing to complain about.
I suspect to hear a change in the narrative soon. Suddenly, the media will come out with headlines such as “How Biden Convinced McCarthy to Give the Democrats What they Wanted” and the article will talk about Biden’s great negotiating skills.
If only Republicans had been that after the Contract With America.
But even then the spendthrift quickly wrecked any chance of real resistance to the Creeping Progressive Doom.

There is no chance the US will default on their loans since the interest on the loans is constitutionally mandated to be paid first. Biden is spreading misinformation, as usual. This needs to be reported to the authorities.
Please explain how a third party would benefit conservatives wining elections.

Kev is another in a long long line of bad trump picks.
That’s the main problem with negotiations..
Democrats go for the moon.
Republicans go for what they want.
Democrats end up with what they want. Republicans get very little of what they want.
That’s one of the reasons he should never have been speaker
You want leaders from solid districts.
Biden responded to Lindsey Graham’s call to spend MORE MONEY and said, essentially, this is the minimum, we can spend more money, just bring a separate bill for more.
Good. I hope they don’t.
For communists, millions dying or being murdered by their policies and practices is a feature, not a bug.
