Well, I did waste a guess when I used a letter in a place I already knew was wrong. But we’ll talk more about why it’s a “sheesh” Wordle tomorrow after everyone’s played.

I had to rework a sentence concerning the Wordle today, whereas, if I had waited until tomorrow, the original sentence would have been OK. I get it. No hints! LOL!

FS just came and took me to the bank for quarters. I had forgotten how heavy $40 in quarters really is! But at least I won’t have to buy more than one or two rolls for a couple of months.

I saw the prettiest bird! It was black and white and almost the entire head was red. I thought it was a woodpecker at first, but the beak wasn’t thick enough. I’ve tried to find the bird in Sibley’s Guide to Birds as well as online and nada.

Anyone? It may be a migrant, because I can’t find any pictures in the Arkansas lists.

Being the avid bird aficionado that I am, I’d say it’s a white bird with a red head.

I like ‘em, but I don’t study ‘em.

Black and white with a red head. Yeah. It’s that kind, right there!

My curiosity often gets me into trouble but hopefully, not when it comes to birds.

It was probably a migratory bird because I’ve never seen a woodpecker with that much red, and no other identifying features. So I may never know what it is.

Thanks! Very close, but the cap wasn’t quite so extensive and was a brilliant red. But that could have been the angle I saw it in. It was very unusual, and FS said he’d seen them but “they aren’t woodpeckers.”

(Terminix just came in and did it’s thing. Once again, we were not told they were coming.) I don’t want them but I would have to sign a waiver to that effect, and she’s not even here, so that’s not going to happen any time soon.

I’ll stick with diatomaceous earth, thanks.
