Fingers are good. I’m actually touch typing now although the bandage causes me to miss with that finger frequently.

As for the Princess, we have an appointment late in June with a “pet internist” (who knew?) to have her liver evaluated.

Nully, I was at a Zoom Bible study last night. One of the attendees talked about how she had been out of work for 3 months before getting a job working for an elevator company.

I asked her how her job was going. She said, “It has its ups and downs.”

She didn’t even know what she’d said.

I just got a call from the pain clinic and they want me to come in next week. Evidently it’s about increasing the Gabapentin, and adding a steroid, and if that helps me to sleep at night, then I’m all for it!

Hopefully, FS will be able to take me before he goes to work. Otherwise, I’ll have to ask someone else. None of whom I’m overly fond of.

Gabapentin, I have heard a number of people that are using that recently, apparently it helps... hopefully they will get you sleeping again!

Gabapentin is used mostly to help nerve damage, though it’s also used for seizures in epileptics. I’ve been on such a low dose for so long that it’s not much more than a sleep aid. If they give it to me in larger doses, it will be taken during the day.

I’m hoping between the increase in dosage of this, plus the steroid, I’ll be able to stave off permanent injury. I may still need steroid injections, but at this point, I’m willing to do almost anything to get some relief.
