Yeah, that’s the kind of thing we had that toppled trees and cut our power for four days. I’m glad you didn’t have any damage from the storm.
I’ve been sitting here with the blinds partially open, trying to watch the dawn hit the parking lot, and it’s no brighter now that it was 90 minutes ago. Gloomy stuff out there. And noisy, too.

I dunno about “raced by,” but some parts of it were pretty fast. I’m now in the “correction” mode, and it’s pretty hefty work. The organizational skills of the packer leave a lot to be desired, and even though I told her, she wasn’t listening. “Nervous rat” comes to mind...
Anyway, I just schlepped about a dozen book boxes into an out-of-the-way corner, and I’ll see if I can pack a few things she missed. I may or may not get much done today, but I’ll sure try. And I’ll hate myself tonight! As well as tomorrow morning.

Lately, it always seem to be Thursday or Friday... Getting stuff in out of the way corners is good... don’t try to do too much in one day...
As you said the other day, in the end, it will all come together and everything that you want to take will be safely in the truck!
Indeed! FS came for about 30 minutes, lifted my favorite shelf off the wall and we talked for a bit, and he seems to be reconciled to my leaving.
He was in a good mood and willing to talk, so that’s good.

I tried to stay awake as long as I could, hoping to outlast the pain, and I’m glad I didn’t set the alarm. I only slept 25 minutes past it, but still.
Another day of trying to pack and I have three boxes lined up. Not much by anyone’s packing standards, especially mine, but it’s a dent and it will help come time for Pam to show up. By then, there will be the closet and the bathroom, and the bathroom is mostly done.
Maybe Monday, I’ll get the filing done. Or maybe today, on one of my breaks. One thing is sure, I’ll be more ready for the loaders this time than I was last time. I hope I don’t have to leave anything behind. If I do, it will probably be the desk. :o[
Good morning. No yelling, which was a pleasant change. The bros have to be at camp a little after 8:00, to check in and get to their assignments, but I have a little more time. There’s no archery in the first two activity periods. However, we cleared everything away yesterday afternoon because of the forecast storms - which happened - so it’s a full setup this morning.
I need to get out to the garden. It’s been 48 hours since I picked zucchini. I hope I can lift them!
Don’t leave the desk. I bought the desk!

We’ve been having thunderstorms since I got up so I’m glad I got up when I did.
*sigh*
It’s time for me to go to work, but I have to have one more massage before I do. They help enormously. And I’ll be sitting on my little stool while I pack — box on the floor, paper beside me and items to be packed on the other side. Woo-hoo! I’ll be a packing fool!
It looks yellow/gray outside. Back home, that’s an indication of severe T-storms. I don’t know what it means here, with all the rain we have.

Four boxes down, three to go today. Then that will be it for now. I’ll do nothing tomorrow except go to church. The rest of my day will be resting!
The other ten book boxes came yesterday, and they are sorely needed. Some things are just better off in small boxes.
