While I believe the "rapture" is the "first resurrection" "first resurrection." (1Jn. 3:2; Rm. 8:23; 1Co 15:53,54; 2Co. 2-4; Revelation 20:6) at the end of the tribulation, yet some of the old "rapture" movies in essence portrayed some of basic developments which current events are precursors of. From "Years of the Beast:"
It is a viable strategy to retreat and regroup and fight another day, for now.
But I fear, for not much longer.
The Democrats are in a frenzy to finally push us into a socialist dictatorship.
If they succeed it will be one law to rule us all. Federalism will be dead in this country.
With the 2020 election the Democrats dropped the veil of respect for the rule of law and know that it is only a matter of time until the truth of the stolen election is known by all.
They must complete there coup quickly and implement their plan to transform the US to a Socialist Atheist Dictatorship.
There is little time left for relocation.
If they succeed there will be no where to run to.

Politics notwithstanding, cultural decline is also spreading like a cancer. Under the right circumstances, we might be able to stabilize and/or fix the former but the latter will be much harder to reverse. Make no mistake, this country is well down the road toward cultural, ethical and moral suicide. Liberalism has gotten a foothold and is infecting everything it touches.
While There’s no idyllic place to live there are precious pockets of sanity where life is still relatively normal. The places I have left only got worse, so luckily those moves turned out to be good choices for me. (I’d like to think that I saw the handwriting on the wall but sometimes fate drives you in certain directions.)
Swimming against the current takes a lot out of you in terms of your time, life energy and spirit. I would personally rather find a better fit in terms of where to live and work than expend valuable time struggling to cope everyday.
But again, I totally understand how hard it is to leave, especially when you have deep roots. It feels like retreat, but I weigh that against the personal cost and frustration of enduring destructive nonsense — and for who knows how long? It will wear you down over time and I don’t believe that is healthy in the long run.
Trust me, its nice to feel good about where you live and work. There’s no substitute for it IMHO.
I wish you the best and hope everything works out for the best for you.
