I don't know. I hope not. They went woke. You know what happens next.

the phrase

“hold my beer”

“hold my bud light”

I bet AB Inbev increased their ESG score. Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street and the other wokeist mutual fund companies won’t dump their stock. If I held it I would dump it, but I don’t hold it.

Just saw the converse articles saying Bud’s competitors have seen an 18% increase as Bud has had an 18% decrease. Bud will survive this, but some careers might not.

“Re: “The revenue of a company is not tied to their stock price.”
Sorry, that is incorrect.

When a public company misses its quarterly revenue estimate, the stock almost always takes a hit, and usually a sharp hit.”

No, that is the stock price being tied to the revenue reports. The company does not see more or less money, meaning revenue, based on what their stock is doing. You obviously do not know what the term “revenue” means.

If you had really been trading stock for “60 years” you would have understood that concept.

True, but they also hold stocks based on expected long term performance and a 30% dip in sales that might last 4-6 months shouldn’t shake a strong hand.

I have seen stories that at least two of the Busch marketing team are on leave which is just a quiet way of firing them. I am afraid that other wokeists in industry have learned nothing from this episode.

Yep, it is still a long time until the annual report.

Those erstwhile drinkers of Bud Lite aren’t coming back IMHO. What’s the point once you’ve moved to another brand. Contrary to most beer advertising there isn’t a dime’s worth of differnce in taste between beer brands until you get to craft beers, Mexican or more exotic foreign imports.

60 years?????
What are you, about 85 years old?
The math doesn’t add up.
You fail.
You probably subscribe to the old buy it for a dollar, sell it for.99 cents and make up the difference in volume crowd.
I would not buy anything from you.

IMHO, customers are responding at a visceral, not political level.

Agree. Apart from the natural revulsion (revulsion, not a phobia) people might feel about the idea of transgenderism, Mulvaney himself is especially grating.

We were in Kroger yesterday and there were cases of the stuff lining the floor around the beer aisle. It looked lime none had been sold. 😆

......many years ago, in a land far away....well, not that far away...upstate New York.....used to drink Blatz beer quite regularly....it was a very good lager; made before Schlitz and others started using other “stuff” in their brewing process... the good old days....
