Beer companies should concentrate on making their beer and advertising their beer. No one wants their beer to be political. Idiots.
Not true! There's working in your garden, tidying your garage, ironing your clothes, trimming your toe-nails...
All popular activities that I, personally, would rate higher than watching NFL.
Regards,
“Bud Light was always fourth choice behind Busch Light, Coors Heavy, and PBR. No more tranny fluid for me”
Uhh, you are down to Coors and PBR. Busch is out as well.
“Widmer Brothers Brewing”
I will need to find a new Wheat Beer for the coming hot Summer.
I, too ,was surprised by the offerings they’re selling. Haven’t had Bud or BL in a while, but these other brands, yes.
Ask the Dixie Chicks if country music fans forgot.
That woke “VP” needs to be shamed forever and be a cautionary tale.
Don't the players still wear stupid messages on their helmets? And then there's this:
Black National Anthem Played at Super Bowl for First Time
I have to read about this stuff, because I haven't watched a game in over three years. I don't miss it at all.
Ah….. I don’t think so.
The NFL lost a lot of market share, and it really hadn’t recovered it.
The NFL did stop the kneeling and standing in locker rooms, but many never came back. They use camera angles to hide empty seats, so many games you don’t know by watching TV.
The NFL marches on, but the trajectory of profits are not what they were.
Until a month or two ago my nephew worked at the NFL as an analyst. He was in the same building as Goodell and was frequently in meetings where Goodell was a participant. He told me that based on the numbers he saw the NFL hasn't been impacted at all by the boycotts and is actually more popular than ever.
I, too, will never intentionally buy another AB product. They simply can’t be trusted to face reality, so how can they ever be trusted to produce anything that I would consume. Mulvaney is a man who dresses like a woman. He will always be a man. I could even understand if a company wanted to use him for advertising out of compassion for his obvious frail mental state, I cannot accept that are trying to force their customers into saying that he is a woman. How can they ever be trusted?
It might be different for Anheuser-Busch because there are a lot of other beers to switch to while there is only one NFL.
Brands/companies we have yet to forgive & forget: NFL, MBA, FNC, Gillette, NOOSECAR, Darden, Unilever, Black Rifle Coffee Company, et al...
(Inbev, like Nike, we never patronized.)
It’s a long list.
Life is still worth living.
We’re saving a ****load of money.
And there’s still room on the list for more.
I went cold turkey from the NFL years ago.
Hubby stuck for one more season, then joined me.
Neither of us found it hard to stay away.
We loathe what the NFL has become.
Anheuser-Busch turned their woke sign on what has been seen can’t be unseen.
B.S. The Washington Redskins are going to be bought for $6 billion, easily an NFL record and they have been a bad team for a long time. They’re not known as the Deadskins for nothing.
