The other candidates are polling at 1-8%. Why would Trump bother to acknowledge them?

Exactly. The Dems and the GOPe are scared to death of an organic populist movement that they can’t control. The political elites have become disconnected from the American people.

—> Trumps hate of Desantis and his background are sickening

Hate? Hardly. I note leftists like to accuse everyone of hate.

—> and his background are sickening

One word : Testicles! Get some now before it gets tougher.

Or the FLA State Legislature could decide to vote to keep the candidate/running laws the same. Easy out for RDS.

If he was truly polling thirty points ahead of DeSantis, as some polls show, maybe he should focus on Biden instead of attacking America's best conservative governor?

I campaigned for Trump, gave him hard earned $s, and voted for him but this is not a good look for Trump-it is killing his chances with the independent women voters who see this crap as petty-it sets it up with the Dems VBM, vote by mail, for a month of a loss for Trump. Trump needs to talk about what he would do positively and stop the petty stuff

Not all meatballs are Italian. Swedish meatballs, anyone?

Doesn’t he need to win the Republican primary first? As some say—he’s not entitled to the nomination—he needs to prove himself and beat the competition. According to the rules of the RDS fankids, RDS is the competition at this time. Biden comes later, after DJT has “earned” his place, right?

There are Asian meatballs as well.

You might recall that Christie took flak in 2020 for neglecting his job as governor while running for the presidency. You can be sure that issue will emerge again in 2024 if DeSantis runs.

Except DeSantis has a long string of policy wins and conservative accomplishments under his belt as governor. It'll be disingenuous to accuse him of neglecting Florida.

And Trump is probably the only one who could lose to the drooling half-wit who now occupies the Oval Office

I like presidents who actually win reelection when they are running against a drooling half-wit who hides in the basement

No, the people who like DeSantis are those who actually want to win and are not addicted to losing for the third time with Donald Trump.

DeSantis has been making the point that the GOP has become addicted to losing.

That seems to be the sentiment that animates Trump supporters. They glory in being part of a losing campaign so they can whine and moan about how it was all stolen from them

There are many, many countries with their version of the meatball. I have lived in 9 different countries and visited about 70 more. Some version of the meatball is ubiquitous.

In Italy you don’t have meatballs and spaghetti. Instead, a popular dish is meatballs with peas, i.e., polpette con piselli.

When Trump loses again the losers will blame DeSantis in part. Nothing negative is ever Trump’s fault in their fantasy world. Ever.

That is correct. If/when Trump loses in 2024 this website will once again become the official home for “THEY CHEATED!”

Donald Trump has become the GOP version of Hillary Clinton: Widely hated by a huge swath of the country, full of entitlement to an unimpeded nomination, and increasingly bitter, nasty, and divisive.

He will lose by a landslide if we are stupid enough to nominate him again

It’s self inflicted voter suppression. Dems won’t even need to cheat when the crazies encourage conservatives to not even bother voting.
