Welfare happened. Republicans need to wake up too. While O’Brandon is busy putting public housing in the suburbs, Republicans are passing out school vouchers. Do you think the parent of this 12 yr old won’t be using these vouchers and sending their kids to semi-acceptable schools in the burbs? We’ll probably even have to pay for the bussing. Bringing gang bangers to a semi safe neighborhood.
The f*** law and order people will be demanding the schools that you’ve worked and sacrificed everything to get your kids into - will become far more dangerous.
That guy is great. He speaks in the same vein as Trump, tough and to the point and I bet you 100% if he ran for POTUS as a Republican, the Democrats would be doing the same thing to him as they are doing to Trump. Anything that has to do with strength in this country they try to destroy.

Yes, the “welfare society” mentality created by LBJ’s “great society” policies was A PART of the problem, but a large demographic shift - millions of young blacks, predominately single young men, migrating from the south to the northern more industrial cities - helped create the growth of “fatherless families” in both the south and the north, and that change also had the big unions as a negative factor, in the north, where racist union bosses limited the good union jobs blacks could get. I remember reading an article by Thomas Sowell of how Chicago had a healthy black middle class of professionals and small businesses BEFORE the 60s, and as the dmographics of Chicago changed with the masses moving in from the south, a good deal of that black middle class left Chicago, which made things there worse with who was left behind (not that one could blame those that left).
What Liberal/Progressive VOTERS never face up to is the consequences of the policies they are induced by THEIR politicians to support.
I was six years old in 1959. I lived in NC. I hung around with a lot of kids my age. Many of the were black. I remember I admired the fathers in their homes.
My dad was then stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. We were out of the country for 6 years. All my black friends there were really great.
When we returned to The States, things had turned for the worse. Many of the black kids my age had absentee fathers. There were many who were thugs. I don’t know what happened in those few years.
