Ronald Dion DeSantis has all the wrong friends.
That puts it all in a nutshell. DeSantis can wait.
‘All the Presidents Men’ is a well directed, well produced, well acted suspense flick. The writing is good, but it focuses on Nixon as the bad guy, as if what his staffers did was so bad it could never be repeated. As if politicians succeeding since they time are pure, US loving, lawful, popular
Silliness.
There is one takeaway from that film that gets repeated to this day which people could really use in this case of DeSantis, that people inexplicably ignore. My theory as to why is that the are infatuated.

I’m trying to keep emotions out of it. So for me it boils down to a rough formula:
MAGA score x electability score.
Trump has a high MAGA score (of course). But I give the edge to DeSantis on electability. So for now I’m just waiting and watching.
Now I’m going to get emotional. Can’t help it. Trump’s indictment has me angry and upset. So Trump gets a few more points for being a target of bullies.

Are you really that stupid? Why do you think the democrats are trying to destroy his chances of getting the nomination? The trial in New York City won’t take place until next year during the voting period. And the democrats have about three more attempted trials on tap.
It is ‘we the people’ who will back the next President, not “He has more backing than Trump did.” I don’t give a rats ass who thinks they can “back” Trump. I have one vote, and I can contribute a little, and that is it. Don’t care about the power brokers who think they are ‘Kingmakers’.

I’m with you. I am for President Trump, more so after the fraudulent indictment. I will vote for President Trump in the primary no matter who else is on the ballot.
However DeSantis is an excellent conservative governor and it is a mistake to trash him, ESPECIALLY when he hasn’t announced his candidacy.

Ideally, Trump 2024, DeSantis 2028 and 2032.
Someone above stated we are all Trump Supporters here. No, we aren’t. He has made some flubs that have lost some (appointments, Covid policy, Jan 6 perceived abandonment of his supporters, too spendy, too woke re homosexuals, mostly).
I concur with these criticisms but still support him for 2024. He was robbed. He did fantastic as President.
But I am not freaking out about it. I await the will of my fellow Republicans. It is up to us who we nominate.

My friends we need this discussion. Too much scoffing at one another. It could end up with 4 more years in the wilderness. We’d be dealing with an expanded SCOTUS, D.C/P.R. statehood, and a whole host of FBI bs.
With a Trump victory more rino careers will end-same with a loss. We can do better.
I can’t picture the right giving up on Trump. The left-they fear him the most. Just look at how they’re going after him.
Can we win without the phony republicans? We need the suburban housewives back. Men competing in women’s sports won’t do it. Trump’s call for new cities suggests there’s something in it for pregnant teenagers with no support. Promote life before the left gets too into the abortion issue. A tall order.
