if the author of this article knew anything about the Constitution, he’d know that the House and Senate have no ability to file charges, arrest, or try anyone.

those are the duties of the executive and judicial branches.

as for dems ‘taking action’ while republicans don’t... that’s because the dems have taken over the various DA and investigative offices around the country. offices that should be impartial are now partisan left and operating under orders from the DNC

in other words... corruption.

So they’ll huff and puff and then do nothing

THIS is exactly the reason the Republican Party exists today. It's not that they are balless or have no spine. The GOP is doing exactly what it needs to do. It gives the APPEARANCE of opposition while allowing the enemies of this Nation and its Constitution to succeed.

That is why Democrats do not answer questions from Republicans in committee. Why would they? They realize that for them there is no upside to answering and no downside if they refuse.

Make no mistake, the RINOs are in on this. Their globalist masters can't allow Orange Man Bad to interfere with their goals.

As President Trump wisely pointed out, it's not him they're after, it's us. He's just in their way.

"It is past time to bring back extrajudicial justice upon DEMOCRATS!!!!"

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. On the road to tyranny, we've gone so far that polite political action is about as useless as a miniskirt in a convent. Something's eventually going to happen. Government will bloat until it chokes us to death, or one more tyrannical power grab will turn out to be one too many. Maybe it'll be one more round of "reasonable gun control" or one more episode of burning children to death to save them from "child abuse." Whatever, something will snap." Claire Wolfe.

“U.S. CODE
TITLE 2—THE CONGRESS
CHAPTER 6—CONGRESSIONAL AND COMMITTEE PROCEDURE; INVESTIGATIONS
Sec. 193. Privilege of witnesses
No witness is privileged to refuse to testify to any fact, or to produce any paper, respecting which he shall be examined by either House of Congress, or by any joint committee established by a joint or concurrent resolution of the two Houses of Congress, or by any committee of either House, upon the ground that his testimony to such fact or his production of such paper may tend to disgrace him or otherwise render him infamous.”

Simply look up Hinds Precedents, especially chapters 53 and 51, and Cannon’s Precedents, especially chapters 184-185. You’ll find numerous detailed cases of Congress asserting its power, arresting people, holding them until they agreed to answer questions, and then releasing them. Some of these people did not refuse to appear, but simply failed to satisfactorily answer questions.

Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act)

If found in Contempt the person can be arrested under a warrant of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or President of the Senate, by the respective Sergeant at Arms.

Statutory criminal contempt is an alternative to inherent contempt.

Under the inherent contempt power Congress may imprison a person for a specific period of time or an indefinite period of time, except a person imprisoned by the House of Representatives may not be imprisoned beyond adjournment of a session of Congress.

Imprisonment may be coercive or punitive.

In 1857, a New York Times reporter refused to say which members of Congress had asked him to get them bribes (protecting his “sources” just as various Judith Millers today protect the people who feed them proven lies that costs thousands of lives), so Congress locked him up until he answered and then banned him from Congress.

In 1924 an oil executive appeared but refused to answer certain questions, so the Senate held — literally held — him in contempt. Senator Thomas Walsh of Montana argued that this question of contempt was of the gravest importance, and that it involved “the very life of the effective existence of the House of Representatives of the United States and of the Senate of the United States.” The matter was taken to court, and the witness fined and imprisoned.

It is not a test of the resolve of the Republican Party. The Republican Party has no resolve. Or guts, or backbone, or principals. The Congressional Republicans [with very few exceptions]are the whipping boys of the Democrat Party. As evidenced by their posts, many on Free Republic.com will be orgasmismic to see him gone.

The letter after the name means jack anymore.

The only reason political parties still exist is to give voters the illusion of choice.

A pol is either loyal to our former republic or to Deep State.

Note to every single sodding pol in the country: Choose wisely.

"Braggs indictment of Trump is predicated by Soros giving Bragg $1 million. Bragg appears to have made that commitment to Soros to get the money for his campaign."

Wouldn't that be considered "Influence Pedaling"? That's against the LAW.! Somebody call a cop, if you can find a real one...

Better yet, maybe somebody should take him to the train station.... :(

While the transformation of Democrats into totalitarian fascists is now complete, their shift has been obvious since at least the beginning of the last decade. They have demonstrated through 2 sham impeachments and the J6 committee, they would use any and every means to destroy Donald Trump.

But knowing all of this Trump posted comments about his grand jury case anyway, which the Democrats predictably weaponized as they did in January 2021.

I predict Bragg used these posts to justify felony obstruction of justice, jury tampering, and intimidation charges. In other words, the whole "hush money" grand jury was just a trap to goad Trump into committing felony process crimes. And as usual Trump's hubris and lack of discipline allowed the Democrats to outsmart him yet again.

The REPUBLICANS want to get rid of Donald Trump as much as the democrats do!!!

Their REAL enemy is us; he’s just standing in the way.

This is not rocket science.. DC politicians HATE that Trump was chosen by us to actually be one of “them”… how DARE he/we!!

Demorats hold all the cards. Fuck Joe Biden is the most successful Presidency since Reagan. They will not let Trump have another term.

If you haven't realized all of this by now you are truly brain dead and should not express yourself in any manner.
