Personally, I would sacrifice a chicken, start swilling rum, and eat some psilocybin caps. Then I would dance naked and howl at the Moon.
Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which helps dissolve kidney stones. In addition to flushing out the kidneys, apple cider vinegar can also decrease any pain caused by the stones. In addition, water and lemon juice can help flush the stones and prevent future kidney stones.
I had the wrong kind of Calcium Supplement cause my stone.
Write me if you are taking any calcium.
There are some who say it helps to imbibe citric acid, i.e. lemon or lime juice in water, which helps to break up the calcium in the stone.
That's just what one has heard though. Go see a physician.
Will the funeral be an online event like your medical situation is?
There are urgent care centers and emergency rooms all over this country. Why are you asking lay persons for medical advice on a public web forum?
My wife says apple cider vinegar mixed with water fixes EVERYTHING.
My wife is a retired RN, and apple cider vinegar was the basic treatment of choice for most patients without fever or severe pain in their busy clinic.
If it failed, the patients were referred to Urologists for lithotripsy.
That one is another 2020 sign up/$hot defender. 🤔
Not a wise move. It could be something else entirely. I thought I was having a bad reaction to an antibiotic. Turned out I had a perforated bowel. Get your ass to the doctor/hospital.
There are LOTS of people out there with esophagus/tummy/gut problems that could FIX those problems if they simply take apple cider vinegar mixed with water everyday. My wife hasn't had ONE incident of acid reflux (heartburn) since doing this one simple thing every day. ACV is a miracle cure for MANY ailments, EVEN GOUT among others.
If you’re not willing to go to the hospital, there’s not much you can do short of kratom or heroin for pain. Hopefully it will pass or you will die of sepsis.
I used to get upwards of 60 stones a year (and lots of i called sand- smaller stuff that looked like sand) until i found out salty foods was causing the issues- now im on alopurinol and not eating an abundance of salty stuff and haven’t passed a stone in a long time- though i still have a few in the kidneys
How to eleive the pain? You dont- you just suffer through it basically- You could try going to hospital and gettign pain meds- but they are loathe to give meds for stones- I was on opiods back when i was passing a lot of stones, and that wouldn’t even really touch the pain-
There is no real way to quicken the process either=- I had one where i was in pain for 53 hours straight- (i woudl get a pain break every 15 minutes or so for a few minute,s then the pain woudl set back in-)
I found walking around helps a tiny bit- as it’s impossible to sit or lay while stone is going on
Heat on the back can help some- sometimes it’s unbearable depending on how severe the pain-
I’ve had docs tell me not to drink water as it can build up behind a stone that is lodged and will just make it worse- but others said to drink water- so who knows-
My 54 hour one I went to hospital- they gave me nothing and basically just watched me and kept tract of my temp- I coudla stayed home and done that- I went to kidney doc for a stone that was jammed, and they waited and waited- never did seem to be overly concerned about much- finally they agreed to put in a catheter- after weeks of pain off and on as the stone woudl shift, and move around but remained lodged- -
the catheter helped pretty quickly- however, they made me keep it in for awhile and stone crud built up on outside of the catheter tube and hurt like the dickens when they removed it- it was not a pleasant experience-
If only women had something as painful as stones to endure, they would know what we men have to go through! j/k
Go see your doctor and get scan to see how large a stone you have. Some can’t be passed.
I’m a ufologist. You can try the tough it out for a day or twice, but untreated stones can lead to loss of kidney function or serious infections. If you get a fever, that indicates a true emergency. Your chances of passing the stone depends on the size and position of the stone, which is information you don’t have. NSAIDS can help with pain and inflammation if you can tolerate them. Tamsulosin, generic for Flomax, can help stones pass from the lower portion of the ureter, but requires a prescription. Even if your pain subsides, you can’t assume that the stone is gone, and should have X-ray evaluation. I have seen multiple patients who lose kidney function with a stone they think they have passed.
That is the max with normal kidney function. In the setting of a kidney stone kidney function may be impaired in which case the max dose is exactly zero
[[I felt so immediately good afterwards that I took the family into a restaurant for a steak dinner.]]
Lol- yep- It is amazing how badly a stone even the size of a 1/2 grain of rice can bring life to a near stop- then how good one feels as soon as it’s over- it’s like jekyl and hyde- night and day difference-
Lemonade. My son has had a few large kidney stones and his Dr told him to drink lots of lemonade to help break the stone up. He did end up having to get it zapped ....has had that done a few times the last few years. Good Luck & honestly, seek medical help. Kidney stones are no joke.
Tang is something I drank a lot of when I had stones.
Seemed to help break them down.
NO ALCOHOL WITH IBUPROFEN.
and just to mention- My kidneys are now stage 3 kidney failure - moving in the direction of stage 4- likely due to the stones- so yeah- try to find docs that will take it seriously- your kidneys are vital- treat them kindly
ONE of those methods is GOING to work, ok? The push-fluids group means well, not a bad idea, but if you are at total blockage, push-fluids can backfire on your kidneys and past 60, they are slow at self-regeneration (healing).
You are possibly postponing the inevitable, and you will be knocked out either way so you won't care, and you'll wake up and get the good news. If it's a big one they pulled out in the basket (Ureteroscopy), they'll put it in your hand so you don't wait so long the next time. Don't fool around.
