Damn, they don’t make shovels that big.
Careful now.
OMG. Run over it.
...and nobody ran it over?
I can understand avoiding a meaty alligator.
8-10 inches thick... not a speed bump. Some vehicles cannot do a bump that big... perhaps a big 4wd vehicle?
probably at least 10 pair...
Metaphorical speed bump. I’d still drive over the thing. Even at a crawl.
A tire shop I did business with had an employee die after removing a leaking tire from a rim. The customer complained of a slow leak flat. The shop guy broke the bead and ran his hand around the inside of the tire feeling for the cause. Something scratched his hand. He dropped about five minutes later from a heart attack. The tire had a rattlesnake tooth which had punctured thru the tread. The employee was elderly with a heart condition. The rattlesnake venom entered his hand and got in his bloodstream.
for my car, with 2.6 inches of ground clearance... not sure its an insurmountable real time wall for me..
my truck? NO PROBLEM...
At 40 lbs per lineal foot, we are looking at about 600 pounds of snake.
with 1/3 not edible, I am guessing about 350-400 pounds of prime snake steak... mostly boneless... probably NOT so tasty.. but hey its better than vegetarian anything.
question is, would Ted (nugent) eat it?
my guess is yes.
I agree. I drive a low profile car. I cringe every time I have to run over road kill like possums and raccoons. It makes a racket, but no serious damage so far.
for some reason unbeknownst to me, when they get stuck on the catalysts... they don’t smell like filet mignon on the grill...
clearly it is hungry... no crocodile lumps in its profile... probably wants to eat a small car...
man what a way to go!! Geez...
Agreed. At least my car has a covering on the underside of the engine area. It makes it a bit more difficult to rip off the catalytic converter...
Snake has plenty of bones, mostly extending at 90 degrees from the spine.
Easy to eat though, kind of like eating corn on the cob.
You strip off the meat from the bones with your front teeth.
Prep is easy enough.
Strip off the skin, cut into about 6-8 inch sections, marinate in a zip-loc bag with Worcestershire sauce for 3-5 hours and roast on sticks over an open campfire.
Mighty good when you haven't had anything to eat for a day.
.
What does python meat taste like?
```````````````````````````````````````
Troy Landry said it tasted like one of the tires from off his Jeep.
And you didn’t run over it? Then back back over? A couple times?
