Honestly, as a Christian, I often feel displeased with myself for being addicted to watching these often-illogical stories. But as a nerd and a loner, I’ve absorbed a lot about human interactions that have been a learning curve for me me in real life. I’d rather sit and read than call someone or engage in grapevine chat, for instance.
It would be great if Mishael Morgan could get a real movie role. She is a capable actress. Her agent should be trying to get her in a prime time tv series, or an ensemble motion picture with great actors and actresses like Denzel Washington, Sterling K. Brown, Regina King, Octavia Spenser.
Figure it’s better to have the vice of watching soaps than doing what the characters do on them (well, at least the naughty ones). ;-D
LOLs! too true!
Lying about something vital
Cheating on one’s spouse
Discovering a lost, evil twin
Finding a grown child given up as an infant
Switching someone else’s medical records for personal gain
Having a double identity
Being brought back from the dead
Sleeping with or marrying the parent or sibling of your current or ex
Becoming an executive in a powerful business with no experience
Having multiple chats with the police without a lawyer
Spending time in jail
Giving birth in a parking garage, remote cabin, while kidnapped, etc.
Being disfigured in an accident and waking up a different actor
Being out all hours of the night because you have a live-in nanny
Telling someone he’s the father when you know he’s not
Telling someone he’s the fatrher when you don’t really know who is...
Yup. I was noticing yesterday Sally was having a coffee with Nick and she suddenly felt a wave of nausea when they were getting up to leave the bench. “PREGNANT !” I know all the little soap tricks. So who is the daddy ? Adam or Nick ?
In Soapland, nobody uses birth control. That would decrease the drama.
Hahahaha! And today, yet another dramatic labor and birth in civilian clothes on the dirty floor, even though it was just a dream! But the best part was Carter's Christmas sweater!
