In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled General Zaluzhny, Ukraine at a fork in the road (TRANSCRIPT and link to 40 minute YOUTUBE video, my notes), Widget Jr wrote:
Before the war in Ukraine started, on this forum, would be more trustworthy? A disbarred lawyer and those on RT's payroll, or a country's top general about the threats his country faces? Before the war, the general would be more credible than the Duran and RT. Now the war in Ukraine is on, who do many Freepers trust? The disbarred lawyer and RT talking about about the General, not the General who's cleaned the Russian army military's collective clocks for ten months. SMH/CMTU.

I get it, lots of Americans are do not want us involved in Ukraine, do not want the risks or costs. Lots of us do not trust our government or the news anymore. Not trusting our our government, news or experts make any other truthful. My issue is, those against US involvement on the conservative side are turning to the least credible so called experts, overrated has beens, and never-were's they can find. That does not help the anti-war case at all.

You still don't get it. This is an analysis of the Ukraine's top General speaking about what he needs to win, and that he can't get those materials he needs.

I saw people didn't understand or were pretending I was pointing to the analysis and not the words of the two Ukrainian military leaders. So I found another article and posted direct quotes of the top general here:

https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4117321/posts?page=35#35

But still there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth because the truth about the war in the Ukraine, the pointless destruction of human lives and 67+ billion to 104 billion in American tax payer dollars (with Biden's new request for 37 Billion more), is coming out.

The grifting needs to stop. Zelensky needs to stop. If he stops now he may be allowed to keep Odessa. If he doesn't stop now he loses Odessa and the Ukraine becomes landlocked. But the need to fuel the globalists ambitions is too great, and Zelensky will continue to grind down what's still standing in terms of Ukrainian men and infrastructure, until nothing is left.

And so, you find the words of the Ukraine's top general to be those of the 'least credible so called expert."

“you find the words of the Ukraine’s top general to be those of the ‘least credible so called expert.”

No. You don’t understand.

The distortion of information has been developed with flawed, inaccurate analysis. General Zaluzhny comments are not rejected.

You did your best with the inaccurate sources you used. As Widget Jr cautioned don’t “turn to the least credible so called experts, overrated has-beens, and never-were’s.”

How much analysis does it require to hear General Z state that Russia is planning a big offensive, list what he needs for his Ukrainian troop sto win, and then note he can’t get that equipment he needs for the next big offensive? General Z is either a liar or accurate, but I doubt he’s an ‘inaccurate source.’

You've certainly angered the FR Ukie bots...

You've angered one particular bot so much that it forgot to post its daily Denys "The Running Man" Davydov horseplop.

Yes. I'm lectured on inaccurate sources from those who post the purportedly 'unbiased' military expertise a Ukrainian airline pilot. I've read of the horrific damage the Azov Nazis do to those whom they feel support the wrong attitudes re the war - but our bot's favorite source- the airline pilot - is not going to say anything the Azov's don't want him to say so he's safe.

I'm American - it's okay if I post American military sources. But our bots can't stand opinions which differ from their airline pilot's opinion.

Biden avidly supports his money laundering operation in the Ukraine. Our bots eagerly supports Biden's agenda.

What I need is another lecture on how to think from people pushing Ukrainian propaganda like drug pushers push 'free' samples to school children.

Thank you, That comment in #41 demonstrates my point. It took my words in #40, and ascribed the opposite meaning of what I wrote to what I believe. This is exactly how the Duran, Ritter, Macgregor, and those supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine create their "expert opinions".

Like I said, I can read Zaluzhy for myself and form my own opinions. He is not going to reveal anything that would help Russia and is guarded in what he says and means. Ukraine is the underdog and has huge disadvantages. Russia has demonstrated proportionally greater weaknesses. That Ukraine's situation is bad, is 100% correct. It is not hopeless as those supporting Russia claim in their make believe world.

I’m not going to try to make sense of your supposed point.

I think it’s sick that I can quote the Ukrainian head of the military and get the response I did, sneers that I am distorting the truth, that I don’t know what sources to cite etc. I quoted the right person with the right knowledge and MANY on FR cannot and will not tolerate it.

If Ukraine is still to have a chance:

Field equipment will have to be supplied by Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Poland, Romania. Not, by the U.S.A.

Germany has the capability, alone, to supply Ukraine with more than enough artillery (and its support), plus barrels, mortars, ammunition. But, my guess is, that Germany continues to worry about trying to restore its trade relations with Russia.

Ukraine needs 2,000 more artillery pieces, plus 20,000 barrels for those, plus 20,000,000 rounds for those. Yet, what the Ukrainian troops also need, are thousands of small mortars (81mm), so that every squad *might* have at least that, in the field. Too many squads are getting caught, without mortar support.

Ukraine should not launch any weapons into Russia proper, nor Belorus proper. (”Proper” - meaning, the borders BEFORE Putin’s imaginative “annex-plotations.”) The U.S.A. should not support such an offense.

Meanwhile, I continue to support a Cease Fire, with Ukraine keeping the land that it physically holds, and Russia unfortunately keeping the Crimea - mostly because, Ukraine cannot yet manage to recover the Crimea, and Putin’s brutal methods will not likely abate, otherwise.

I think Putin would nuke Ukraine before he would give up Sevastopol.

Ukraine: Why are Russian forces fixated on Bakhmut?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR69vUIQJAc

https://www.forces.net/ukraine/ukraine-why-are-russian-forces-fixated-bakhmut

Russian forces are concentrating their efforts on the seemingly strategically unimportant town of Bakhmut.

Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Grant said: “My suspicion is that Putin has given them a directive and everybody then follows the directive without rhyme or reason or just cause.

“They’re just bombarding everything, they’re just shelling everything, they’re shelling the city and they’re shelling the surrounding areas.”

He went on: “The doctrine of Russia has always been the doctrine of artillery. You destroy everything first and then you send in the infantry.”

.....”now everybody accepts Ukraine is
suffering trying to cling on to back much why constantly send reinforcements
there when all that that does is that those reinforcements get chewed up”.....

Of course that’s not what our news is relaying....nor Zelensky.

You’re silly!
You are entitled to Freedom of thought and expression to choose our own biases.

However, personal wisdom is gained by taking the time to stop to validate truth

Now it's after me, with the "Freedom of Thought" canard, while it jams the propaganda of the Ukie pilot who ran from the Ukraine down our throats. :)

Did you notice it has adopted marked condescension as if it's not just a Ukrainian shill keeping the pointless death, and the money laundering it conceals, going? Obama did that; his inflated ego floated him above the 'mere' crowd - people saw through that too. But that tactic change means oour bot felt like it was losing talking peer to peer so now it's posing as if it's 'above it all'.

They are extremely reliable. Their reporting is spot on. They report wins and drawbacks on both sides.

I believe it is you that is a propagandist who posts nonsense on a daily basis and pretends you are some kind of military reverend replete with all the praying hands and hokey tear jerking dramatics.

Mercouris is no saint, but that was in his past.

What is your excuse?
