If my amendment fails, the border will be wide open. No one should support that. Every Senate Republican should (a) vote for my amendment, and (b) oppose the omnibus if it fails. Even better, every Senate Republican should oppose the omnibus either way.
Tigermaus sounds a little like sable. A bit independent and knows exactly how much they will put up with.
I guess that’s the adventure of having cats, they never do exactly what we want them to do. I just have to live my life around her. The dog however is a different story.
And you’re right, thank you for your kind words about corduroy. He was such a sweet little baby I don’t think he ever knew that I didn’t know that he loved me. Actually he loved everybody, he had visitors from the neighborhood when we were in california. There were two kids that came over to pet him all the time. And when a friend in the neighborhood moved, he said he was going to miss corduroy. Not us! He would drop by occasionally and Roy would sit on the arm of the chair he was in. He always liked to sit on big fluffy arms so we looked for furniture with them.

We had a white cat called Sonny. He would gently grab your chin it his mouth, sharp teeth and all. So you had to be careful not to move. Anyway one day he wandered over to our neighbors and I heard the lady say kitty kitty, then after a few moment I heard a loud scream and then saw Sonny bolting away from the house.

We are adamantly opposed to Sen. Sinema’s Omnibus Amendment. Processing ILLEGAL border crossers through the system for a faster release will incentivize more crime.
We urge all senators to support Sen. Lee’s Amendment. It’s the only good proposal to address the border nightmare.
I’m praying for the handful of Senators standing up for us, but not getting my hopes up. These Senators, McConnell and his friends, just don’t care or have respect for the coming Republican majority in the House, the wing of the legislative branch that’s supposed control our finances.

Down to 16°, tomorrow down to 14°. Not bad but with wind chill factor, much colder. How is it in your neck of the woods? Already snowing in Dallas area. And my son is out driving to doctor appointment.
Ha! My cat bites if you quit petting him before he’s ready.
And I’m over here in the mountains basking in warmth, 31° now with a high of 50°.

my son is working a couple miles north of town and it’s snowing here now.
The sky is falling! Within a few weeks we’ve had an earthquake and snow, 2 unusual events here!
They are predicting four days in the twenties as high. Lows below 10. I hope that’s wrong!
