I noticed that, too. I wonder if those images are really live…

“Not just Mars, I believed we’d be at Europa by now.”

Agreed—I expected both military and civilian settlements (Antarctica style) on both the moon and Mars by now—with multiple countries having their own “towns”.

Any new space program must have IT that is upgradable and swappable with new tech if it’s going to be sustainable.

That amazing Mars helicopter has actually had several software upgrades since deployment. Pretty cool.

We should be in orbit mining nearby space for resources.

Earth would make a wonderful game preserve.

Climate change solved.

I’ve been thinking that for some time. The asteroid belt is full of rare earths and precious metals. There’s finally been a preliminary but thorough engineering feasibility study done and there’s not enough stuff on the planet to do what these greenies want to do. That means no EV for you.

Eric Weinstein wants to get off the planet too.

Musk thinks big. He could do it. He’s already building the infrastructure. Probably easier than managing twitter.

I suspect they are the quiet engineers getting all the real work done behind the scenes. They aren’t the ones in front of the cameras and microphones.

Turn off the sound and watch the fireworks. It’s what I do.

Over 100 Saturn V launches were planned, with crewed Mars landings in the 1984 to 1986 window. No telling what we’d be doing by now.
