Yawn….
I’m in total agreement with you on this. It would be like that abominable remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair!” Unfortunately, young (relatively speaking) movie-goers won’t have seen the original; so they won’t have anything to compare it to.
In that case, it should be these two!
He ain’t no Steve McQueen. I hate it when they do this. They have nobody left that is creative enough anymore to come up with new material.
Mr. Let me project how sexy I think I am to the camera.
Total clown.
The remake will have an EV driving through poop and the homeless.
No but guarantee it will be a EV car for more climate control propaganda.
SF may be a disturbing dump now but it was spectacular in 1968. And while many car chases have since been filmed that were more technically complex than the original none were more satisfying as Frank got firey revenge on the hit man and his driver (who recently died btw) who was the actual stunt driver. Also, close examination of the 1968 440 CID Dodge Charger as it is hurtling into the gas station will reveal the Mopar in a cloud of dust behind the building as explosives are set off at the pumps. Seldom are remakes as good as the originals.
Not VROOM!!
Oh they will probably woke it up to be unwatchable trash.
Bradley Cooper should bow out of this project. It’s the height of arrogance to think you could follow McQeen. What next Cooper in the remake of Cool Hand Luke for Paul Newman? No way.
They just recently found that green Mustang in somebody’s back yard.
Really, there is no way you’re going to match McQueen in raw masculine energy.
So, will the car chase involve a Prius and a Tesla?
Doubt it will be a Tesla.
Musk ain’t woke enough for Hollywood.
I, on the other hand could not watch blade runner II because of that goosling guy.
damien lewis should play bullit
i think the problem is they can only write woke
they have to do remakes to do unwoke
and even then it creeps in
i was thinking the same thing
they must have been on a tight budget
for car chases
i think french connection ranks higher
The one movie I enjoyed Gossling in was Fracture.
