Wait now…you mean foreigners have been deciding what content is appropriate for us to view and what responses are permitted?

Not easily.
H-1B’s are a scam. You are brought in at a fixed (<market) salary and if you leave that company you have to leave US. This is how domestic techies have their salaries unnaturally suppressed.
Like bringing in illegal aliens (yes “aliens”, not migrants) to do farm work — it keeps salaries low.

Just think of what it’s going to be like with all of the “fart checkers” sent home to India and Pakistan.

Nah. The feds will simply not deport them. They are, after all, reliable votes for Democrats.

I remember when the H-1B craze first began with Microsoft demanding an increase in IT workers who can do web coding immediately, the San Francisco Chronicle ran an article lamenting about what the wives of Indian H-1B coders would do? What jobs could they get?
Then when the H-1B worker contracts were expiring, the Chron lamented about how these workers who lost their jobs could find another?
It became clear very quickly that the H-1B visa program stopped being about jobs looking for workers and became foreign workers looking for jobs.
It would be nice of Mush could return to the days of jobs looking for workers, and when the jobs are over the workers go home.

Elon Musk's cost-cutting plans may have left hundreds of Twitter employees on high-skill work visas on a countdown to deportation. Only hundreds, not thousands. Oh, well, it's a start, I guess.

Normal disinformation from fake news Business Insider?
Yup.
There is ZERO chance of Dementia Joe deporting any former/sacked Twitter employee.
To: dynachrome
Under Biden’s regime, none of them will ever get deported.

They couldn’t work from home?

Just go to 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts for a shoe in job.
“You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking,” - Joe Biden.
