So, how much deadly radiation did we receive?

None. From
sciencealert.com..."To be clear, though this proximity happens to be 20 times closer than the average long gamma-ray burst, it poses absolutely no danger to life on Earth.". Apparently, the distance involved together with earth's atmosphere completely protect us. This time.

"God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light." Or, on the sixth day God created mankind. "Let us make mankind in our image, to be like us. Let them be masters over the fish in the ocean, the birds that fly, the livestock, everything that crawls on the earth, and over the earth itself!"
Long-lasting pulses of high-energy radiation sweeping over the earth would explain alterations to the DNA of organisms on the planet, including ours.

Interesting. I saw a short YouTube video about a week or so ago that was a few days old at the time that had video of the sun from different places and showed visible pulsing. Not sure if it was a camera function or something blocking (clouds/trees). But one lady said she only recorded the phenomenon after she realized it seemed to be brightening and dimming with no cloud cover in her area. Would have been around the same time of the month as this report.

One of those originating close to use would be, um, exciting. Terminally exciting.
As it is, something that happened 1.9 billion years ago isn't new.

I saw that when it first came out. Seemed like a train wreck of a movie, even to my young self.
