Agree. But if they charge him with only these crimes, Brandon can pardon him. Then when Trump gets in maybe they can charge him with the rest of the crimes. How long does the statute of limitations run?
Just wishful thinking, actually, he will probably never be charged with anything else, and this is just some kind of smoke screen to say they charged him & then drop any other investigations. Also, they may have something up their sleeves with the Trump kids, and this will be used as a precedent-setting scam to go after the Trumps.
This sounds to me like they received enough pressure from the laptop from hell that they had to do SOMETHING, just to give the illusion of equal justice for all. These are the least of Hunter’s criminal and evil practices.
A group that uses its time and assets to go after someone who is just trying to live according to their beliefs without causing damage to the complainant does not have true dignity. They have hostility.
The speed with which differing lifestyles have gone through the progression beginning with … just make it legal in our own privacy to …acceptance … to celebration to …. you are committing a crime if you don’t do the above …. accelerates with each new category.

KFAB talk show host Ian Swanson, a former staffer for U.S. Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb., opened his show today by saying Sasse is resigning his post to take a job leading an academic institution. Still no official confirmation. The silence from multiple sources is unusual. Will update.
If Sasse’s staff confirms a resignation, his spot would have to be filled by gubernatorial appointment. His replacement would serve from now until early 2025. That would mean Nebraska could have both Senate seats up in the same presidential election year, 2024.
People familiar with Sasse’s decision making told the Examiner that Sasse informed Senate staffers he is resigning. The academic institution has not yet been confirmed. Some were told it is the University of Florida.
University of Florida system confirmed Sasse as the only finalist for its presidency on Thursday.

The Biden administration is nearing a decision on the future of federal offshore fossil fuel drilling and hasn’t ruled out a complete block on new leases.
On Thursday, the 90-day comment period for the Department of the Interior’s (DOI) proposed five-year offshore leasing plan ended, paving the way for the agency to issue a final decision. In July, the DOI unveiled the plan which gutted a Trump administration proposal, ruling out any leasing in the Atlantic or Pacific and opening the door to an unprecedented scenario where no lease sales would be held through 2028.

Both Martha McCallum and Brett Baier sicken me. I will never forget the virtual town hall they did with Trump from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial before the 2020 election. For two hours they played preselected videos containing anti-Trump speeches and hit questions except for one positive question and three neutral. Every time I see either one of them, I change the channel remembering that they did their part to defeat Trump.

He cited examples of speakers being censored on campus as one of the reasons he is boycotting Yale clerks.

IIRC Trump’s endorsed candidate for governor in Nebraska lost his primary, one of very few endorsed losses. Is it possible that Sasse will resign, then the new governor will appoint the outgoing governor as the interim senator? That would be a real case of …..I give to you and you give it to me. AKA quid quo pro.

It’s just devastating. I have always been a mostly fiscal conservative. I mostly figured people would answer to God for their sins. But the evil upon us now has turned me into something else. They aren’t just hurting themselves anymore.
I’m sure there are many more like me.
