Smiley is running against hard core lib Murray in Washington state. The commercial against her is all about abortion rights, so exaggerated you would think we are going to jail woman that are having an abortion. I love the term they use. "A woman's right to reproductive health care" when talking about abortion, ending the life of the baby, hmm.
Old bay, great idea. The salmon loaf I made (figured it’d be easier than Patties) was missing from spice and some acidity. Ill add more lemon too
I’ve never made it that way but jalapeños might be ok in the salmon , it turned out kinda dull

They have a great selection of ready made meals which I buy occasionally, salmon with pesto sauce, seafood stuffed salmon, two of my favorites.
I used to make salmon patties when my kids were younger and had a lot of mouths to feed, but I jest eat whole salmon now, fresh and frozen. I was thinking it might be a good idea to stock up on some canned salmon in case of food shortages.
When I was a kid we used to go camping in Oregon and go salmon fishing. Nothing better in the world than fresh caught salmon cooked outside on the grill.
Thanks for the recipe. I’m going to try the shrimp some time. I like shrimp fettucine and that would be something different.

Amazing. As of 9am today the total number of reported power outages is down to ~840,000 statewide.
FPL says almost all their accounts should be back online by the end of this week.
@GovRonDeSantis has urged Lee County Electric Co-op to accept mutual aid to expedite restoration.

At one point, there were nearly 2.7 million reported power outages in Florida due to Hurricane Ian.
I’m just 3 days, over 1.7 million of those outages have been restored.
Lee County was one of the hardest hit. If it has its own electric company, I can see why Governor DeSantis wants it known that the state has offered help.
