“We fomented a revolution/coup in 2014, caused a civil war and sided with the neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists that wanted to exterminate the ethnic Russian population.
Then we encouraged Ukraine to ignore the Minsk Agreement it signed that would have brought peace to the region.
We armed Ukraine with offensive weapons, teased Ukraine NATO membership and opened biological weapons labs there.
And finally, when Russia responded to all that, we claimed they invaded Ukraine for no good reason to annex territory”.
Thank you!!

And to counter..... Sure Putin started a war against Ukraine in 2014. First by taking Crimea, then starting insurgencies and finaly now invading Ukraine. All the warfare and ensuing death and destruction was caused by Putin.

I continue to think many of our current problems in the US are the result of Soviet psyops that have carried on.

One has to wonder, despite assurances that all nukes were returned to Russia, that a few might have been held back. Regardless, Ukraine is a technology leader with strong capabilities to get back in the game it it wants to. Putin isn’t interested in Ukraine because it grows good wheat.
Maybe if our crooked VP and his philandering drug-addicted son hadn’t involved themselves so deeply in Ukrainian affairs, Putin would have acted otherwise.

Atheist?
Not at all. Just pointing out a simple truth. Tell me Pascal was wrong. AND...Pascal was a Jesuit priest. Why would you ask that question anyway? I was not suggesting that religion is evil...only that evil men will use it as a lever to do their evil. Look at the history of the Roman Catholic church as just one example for crying out loud.

The Democrats were BFF(s) with Putin until 2012 when he outlawed homosexual adoption of Russian Children. It was then that Putin became a pariah…Historically the USSR and all Communist countries have been socially conservative and anti-homosexual (just like the moslems). Yet the same liberals who savage Putin are silent about those countries.

Putin was perfectly capable of keeping any NWO/Soros/WEF influences out of Russia without invading Ukraine.
I mean, what has he really accomplished in that regard anyway? By purporting to annex those regions of Ukraine, and making them part of Russia, all he's done is expand Russia's border. It is still adjacent to Ukraine, and whatever ills he may have feared would flow across the old Ukrainian borders into Russia would still flow across the new Ukrainian borders into Russia.
The annexation undermined the exact argument you are trying to make.
To: Jan_Sobieski
Not a false statement unfortunately. Doesn’t give him the right to kill people and conquer territories.
Sometimes all the leaders are bad. You don’t have to support any of them. But you can support and defend morality by opposing the worst among them.

Putin would have acted otherwise. Doubt it. Russia has always been an imperialist, expansionist and aggressive state. Putin has stated Ukraine is not a state.

Probably because most of us feel that those are domestic policies that are the business of the people who live inside those countries. It is up to Russia to determine what its people do, Ukraine to determine what its people do, etc.. Proof of this is that Russia has remained staunchly anti-homosexual why Ukraine hasn't. That actually proves that this is an issue determined by national governments.
To put it differently, policy on gay marriage, etc. in the United States isn't impacted in the least by whether Ukraine or Russia endorse or oppose those issues. That is entirely up to us, and who we choose to elect.

Good point. I didn’t expect annexation. I expected a series of buffer Republics to guard help Russia’s southern Gas Fields. That seems to have changed when fighting escalated. It would appear the Eastern and Southern Ukrainian Republics wanted Russian annexation for the assurance of Russian Protection. Not sure what the next phase of this is…
